Moonbow by Hindware Moonbow AP-A8400UIN 55-Watt Air Purifier (White)

I just received it. Packaging and delivery were ok. However, except for a one pager T n C sheet, nowhere is it mentioned that this is a Hindware product! Neither the box, nor anywhere on the product is the name of Hindware present. It mostly carries the name Korea pure and what not, and looks like a fake import. I have used air-purifiers for 20 yrs now, and this is weird. Bought it at 4400. review will be updated in coming days.Two month old review:Working steady so far. No major complaints. Filters are getting dusty quite visibly and perceptible improvement in air quality is noted. I have lined the filter with 3M air filter (bought 3 packets for around 800rs).

Good product, value for money. Works well if you dont use it for the whole day, used it continuously for 2 months and poticed significant decrease in pollution related coughing and phlegm production in the lungs. It is a little loud when used in its mid mode, hi and low are not as noisy. Sleep mode is okay, I don't use it too often.The auto cutoff timer has limited options only 3 modes - 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours. I generally use 4 hours, especially when I'm sleeping. Overall it is a good product for the price.

Got the purifier delivered some few days back and have been using it daily since then. A good home based air purifier with UV light filtration system which is must for the recent pandemic scenario. Moonbow a Korean based company, their products are being imported and marketed by Hindware, hence for me Hindware marketing this product was big selling point. The Hindware company name is mentioned on the Box and on the Manual of the product.

I was going to get the Philips 4025 which was 15,000. I didn't know about the brand till I saw an ad in the newspaper. I called up the number and was treated to a very detailed explanation of the product.The Philips 4025 is the popular choice but it only has the HEPA filter and carbon filter. The Moonbow filters have pre filter+HEPA+carbon+UV light+ionizer. There is no pre filter for larger dust particles which means the HEPA filter will get blocked faster and will need sooner replacements. Also the Philips doesn't have an ionizer and UV light.The filters inside are made in Korea. They are sold together as combination filter when you need to replace. Pre-filter can be reused by cleaning it.Operation is quiet and only at highest speed can you hear it.

Quality is satisfactory for a small room. The product was received promptly and the packaging was good. The filter did catch a lot of dust so I can guess it is working as expected.

Pros :1) Premium build quality2) Branded product from Hindware .3) Touch button are very responsive .4) Dedicated button to turn on/off Ionizer and UV lamp/Cons:1) Hepa and Carbon filter are tightly coupled hence both can only be replaced as one filter2) Since its filter is unique in shape and design hence we have to be completely seller depended for filter .

No sleep mode, no support for individual uv, ionizer control. Filter is composite and one need to replace the entire set which is expensive. Pre filter quality is poor.It's a decent product.

Does suck up some dust and positiveeffects can be felt. Not to an extent that you will see no dust around, but reduces the frequency or cleaning.Edit: Pathetic product support. Ticket got cancelled twice without any reason. Purifier showing a blinking light. Filter replacement possibly needed but dealers not responsive.
