Just got this meter for Christmas. It came very well packaged and there was no damage. Took it over to my neighbors to test it against his $400.00 Fluke meter. He is a HVAC tech and knowledgeable in these devices. The Mestek meter was well within spec of the more expensive device. The meter is well built,the batteries easy to change out,the fuses inside are easy to replace and inexpensive. Some multimeter fuses can cost up to 27 dollars each if they blow. Only problem was the batteries arrived dead,no big deal,happens from time to time. All around a good tool for home handyman.

Small but featured packed multimeter excellent value for the price.Solid build, quality materials, feels like a more expensive device. Particularly liked the auto-range feature and the battery measurement while applying a load.Accessories feel solid and fit properly.Potential improvements:* add a transistor measurement socket* while the manual is complete and informative, the translation is arcane, some table headers are still in Chinese

This is a reliable meter with a Live feature that I like where you can plug the positive lead into the hot side of lets say an AC plug and it will put out a sound if it's live. The screen is easy to read and with my testing seams to function well. The outer case protects the meter from damage well and the fold out stand makes it easy to read the meter.

I bought this meter as just one I can throw in the tool bag on the go. All of the features seem to work fine. Auto ranging works fine. Some downsides though:* Frequency counter is limited to around 7.5KHz. I have a slightly more expensive meter that can measure into the MHz. Not sure why this one is so limited.* Signficant delay for the buzzer sounding when doing continuity testing. Probably just under a second delay.* Display and backlight are a bit dim.* Takes AAA batteries. Minor, but I personally prefer meters that take the more common AA or even 9 volt.It’s still a decent meter, but there are better on the market for a few more bucks.EDIT: Updated to add a photo. The manufacturer responded to me and claims that the meter is capable of reading up to 10KHz. So, I put it on a function generator to narrow down the actual frequency range. Unfortunately, the meter stops registering a frequency count around 8.145KHz.

I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A GOOD MULTIMETER FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF NOW. I THINK I'VE FINNALLY FOUND IT.THIS METER HAS FEATURES THAT I DIDN'T KNOW WAS AVALIABLE ON A MULTIMETER. I HAVE USED IT FOR WHAT I PURCHASED IT FOR. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO MY JOB AND LET MY COWORKER (WHO IS INTO ELECTRONICS) PLAY WITH IT FOR AWHILE AND HE LOVED IT ALSO. Great product. Loaded with many features including backlight, flashlight, proximity hot wire sensor, LED indicators, large display and multiple node connectors. Measurements are accurate. Only comment is the Manuel could be written better.

Quality built, full of features, anime reasonable price. It does not come with case. Hey Case would make it a ultimate complete package which compares to meters that are three times as expensive.

2 batteries, a screwdriver, and 2 alligator clips included! Ready to use when I just open the package. Easy to read with large screen. I also like its flashlight and stand, very clever design. I use it to fix for the wall outlets and some small kitchen electronic stuff. Works just great.

This Multimeter replaces a very basic multimeter, but already I have found more uses for it with more accurate readings for voltages and ohms. I have found it very reliable and with more features than I will probably ever use.
