Works intermittently. Poor quality potentiometer. Bad packaging.

Good product
First of all I doubt whether it's a product from VEEROBOT but talking about the device, it functions perfectly.Holes for cooling was painted, so I need to clean it using needle and there was lot of flux on the device, I think manufacturer had stopped cleaning their product after soldering to save some extra bucks.Except this, device work perfectly fine.

Using this to drive 12v router from 5v power bank
Does its work without problem. I am using this for driving my 12v router from my 5v Power Bank. Efficiency seems very good. The circuit doesn't heat much and can handle currents in range of 2-3A very easily.
