I didn't even realize how long it was taking to get my pressure cooker up to top pressure. Then it was leaking steam. I went YEARS without replacing the ring; I had not researched how often you're supposed to do that. This one fits perfectly. I gets maximum pressure much faster. I was worried I'd have to buy a new one but this was all it took.

Product was easy to install. Quality was great too. Performance was good as well. This seal worked great for my insta pot.

As I am sure that anyone that has this pressure cooker- the gasket (once used with garlic and onions) smells and you can NOT get it out no matter what the other people say online as a fix. We now have this gasket to use when we are not cooking and high spiced dishes and if we do we use the old one. Always need a spare anyway in case it gets cut or deformed by pressure cooking.....a must have!

It was easy to install and works great! I ordered another one by mistake and still haven't received a refund. I did cancel the order but the money was already paid out.

I was surprised because these don't attach to the lid like my original one did. It sits nicely on the outer edge of the pot and does create a good seal.I will say it was the tabs that slip into the lid on the original that broke so I think these will actually last longer without those tabs.Super easy to clean.
