PlayStar Flexible Swing Seat

This is a perfect swing for our swingset. The plastic coated chains are very comfortable on little hands, no pinching. The seat is wide enough in both directions and feels sturdy. The swings are used everyday for 1-2 hours a day. They held up well for 2 months now. We have three children and three swings--they all fight over this one.

Unfortunately the swing was missing one of the quick links that connects the chain to the seat. This is not a standard size. I thought it would be easy to find a match at the local hardware store and big box stores. The ones that are the right diameter (1/4") are too narrow to clear the distance between the swing's edge and grommet, and the next size up in stock (3/8") didn't have the clearance to fit through the grommet. The right size or a true replacement may be available online, but I was able to make do with some carabiners, although these are spring loaded, not screw closure, which could be a safety issue over time. It would make me more comfortable if the right pieces were used, so I'll continue my search.The lowest branch for this swing was 20 feet up (!) so I was able to get a good match to the existing chain (search for Everbilt #2)If all the parts were included and I didn't have to make additional trips to the hardware for now useless quick links, I would have given in 5 stars.

This is an awesome replacement swing! The rubber coating along the chain is so great to have, to protect little hands and fingers. It is covered about 2/3rds the way up the chain, so you can adjust the swing to the height you need. The seat is great - rubbery, so the kids don't slip off. I am seriously happy with it. It took only a second to install on our swing set. Great price, too!!

Good quality swing at a decent price. Only $5 more than at Menards for the same product and with free shipping it evens out. My five year old loves it. The rubber to protect hands is nice but is up a bit high, as for shorter swing sets it can't really go short enough. Easy to put together and secure with the clips. You will need the hooks for the swing set which wasn't a problem for me.

It works like it should. It is easy to install.

Just bought a new house that had a existing swing set. Bought this swing to replace the old one. Well build, easy to assemble and strong enough for a 200 lbs perosn and it really did not squeeze my butt where on some of them it can. My little one is not quick big enough for this yet, but I have had other kids on it and they loved the swing.

Did your swing come with hooks to connect the seat to the chains? Because mines didn't come with any and I thought it was supposed to come with it. I did know however that I was supposed to buy hooks to install the top part of the chain to the playground which I purchased separately.

The swing itself is nice enough. My issue is they sent only 1 link that opens and closes to attach the chain to the seat and not two. I looked in a local store, but the shape of the links is different and could cause the swing to not sit right, etc. I contacted the company via email, but have not heard anything back.
