this is the best toilet seat I have ever had ,really good size so fits over toilet bowl with no gaps,the pattern is very rustic looking don't mind shiny finish as its easy to clean .it was very easy to fit on .hinges seem very good quality.it had a great spanner to tighten up ,not many seats give you this its invaluable would recommend to all.

I bought this to brighten up my smallest toilet. I was pleased to discover that the pattern is also on the underside of the lid (see my photo), so it can be seen whether the lid is up or down.The seat is very sturdy, with a solid feel to it. It definitely feels like either wood or mdf - the product description uses both words, so I'm not sure which one it actually is.There were a few minor blemishes in the pattern, but I had to look very hard to see them. Overall, I'm happy with the finish, and I think the seat was good value for money.The fitting style was one of the most secure I've seen (and I've fitted a good many toilet seats over the years). With this seat, a plastic "plug type" washer (supplied) has to be forced quite firmly into each of the holes in the pan, providing a very stable channel for the seat screws. Fitting these plugs/washers turned out to be the hardest part. I think that a stronger woman (or a man!) might have been able to press them in by hand, but I'm a wimp, and I ended up using a block of wood and a mallet to "persuade" the plugs into place. I had to be extremely careful - one wrong move and I could have smashed up the toilet.With the plugs in place (scary part over), after lining up/placing the seat (it adjusts for different sizes), then tightening everything with an open-ended spanner, it was solid as a rock, comfortable to use, and it also looks a lot nicer than before.

We wanted a seat that looked like wood as I think real wood seats harbour germs more. This item is better than I expected and I just love it. It wasn't difficult to fit (well I didn't hear any swearing) and it looks great in our newly painted WC. Would buy more products of this make.

Absolutely luv my rustic wood loo seat!! Excellent delivery and quality-it really does look distressed natural beach wood but super protected hygienic plastic covering. Really looks great in my bathroom with my other wicker and “washed up” wood items!

I am disappointed by this toilet seat. I have used it in a bathroom, a potentially damp environment, though my bathroom is well ventilated and does not suffer as ll from condensation. The hinges rusted in 2 weeks!!!

It does the job! It's not clear in the (lack of) description for this item, that this is actually NOT a wooden seat.It works, comes with everything you need to install including a spanner, but it does look distasteful as it's a printed picture of wood on MDF.However, certainly makes cleaning less hassle and will last longer than a varnished wood seat.

Looks good, feels good, great to sit on, but, who ever invented the fitting needs to have another look. When trying to tighten the seat to the toilet the inner part of the fitting goes round and round and will not tighten without a lot of difficulty and fiddling about. What should have taken 10 min. took an hour.

I really like the wavy design, it looks pretty stunning and improves the bathroom a fair bit (a nice change from the plain white ones ...). Comfy to sit on, but not all that easy to install, but that may just have been my toilet! Would recommend
