The hand grips that came with my portable metal crutches had a soft blue padding over a harder rubber component. After several months the soft padding had worn off on both crutches. These replacement grips are also nicely cushioned but with a durable gray rubber material instead of the foam cushioning that was on the original grips. I feel that these replacement grips will last a very long time, much longer than the original material. Because they are a solid rubber material I also think they are more resistant to dirt and grime contamination than foam rubber. They were easy and quick to install and came with the bolts and wingnuts needed to attach them. Very pleased!

I replaced the hand grips on my crutches because the wing nut continually backed off of the screw. Eventually this resulted in the plastic under the foam to start shaving off. The shavings would spill out all over my car whenever I held the crutches sideways to put them in and lay them down in my vehicle. The wing nuts that came with the new grips are doing the same thing so I have to be mindful of that, otherwise they've been great.

I replaced my adjustable crutch grips with these because the adjustable ones were noisy! Every step was clickity-clack and annoying. The ones they give you from the hospital are adjustable for convenience but not the most sturdy. I had to drill through the crutch arms to make a hole for these but they are now solid and don't click any more. I'm very happy with the results.

Product is fine. Packaging is terrible. My replacement came after the 1st on was missing a part. Not a problem. BUT, the second one arrived thankfully intact with the same 2 holes in the bag. Poor packaging, and I even told then that there was an issue with the bag when I called the first time. So apparently no one minds giving free product away when all they had to do was correct the bag .

Unlike the handgrip that I am replacing this one has no cushy feeling. They are much harder on my hands. I'll have to keep them a while and see if I get used to them but I wouldn't buy that type again

Looks like a good replacement. unfortunately when I inspected the package some of the hardware was missing. Hopefully I can just reuse the old hardware that I have.

Easy to install! My Husband has Neuropathy in his hands and is 6'2 with 1 leg. He was able to install them quickly and easily. Very Sturdy, like the crutches came with them.

Crutches aren't very useful without the hand grips. These replacements were available at the right time, for a very reasonable price, AND included the through-bolts!
