Absolutely superb speaker
I bought it for 3990 bucks in a offer sale, worth for every penny, checked in indoor and terrace, in the outdoor bass is less, but bass is extraordinary for its size( in indoor), treble is little bit less but can tweak with equalizer, solid built body, checked with almost all genres, very less amount of distortion can be found on heavy hip hop bass, and during playing music by Bluetooth sometimes sound get cracked while shift the phone or put it in my shirt pocket, it seems Bluetooth connectivity needs to improve. over all am satisfied.. recommended for everyone who likes music with boom bass ;)Update after the second purchase(First one was took away by my cousin :( ) personally i felt some difference between first and second piece i bought, it is having more bass, but only can be hear during high volumes, So it is not comfortable to use for long time, and also not clear in highs, hence there is no crisp in sound, tried to increase the treble through the equalizer, but still it is not comfortable to hear, there fore if you reduce volume, everything goes to low. The bass is not at all workout in the outside / open space (Checked inside the car too), In verdict it only can be used in indoor (preferably medium size hall or lesser), also you can choose if you ready to compromise with treble.

Happy with the product.
1> Decent bass as promised.2> Good build quality.3> Sounds comparable to JBL speakers and even better than equally or little more priced JBL and other models.4> Connectivity is good.Cons:1> Little Heavy.2> Lid cover for charging point and AUX IN is irritating, difficulty in properly placing it horizontally but it is a minor flaw.Cannot comment on battery life since I used it on my bike trips mostly not daily use so for me it is giving music playback time of more than 6-7 hours for now and act as emergency power backup too though charging speed is slow.My verdict overall, go for it, you will not regret it.

Brilliant product
This is a very initial review. Hope to update it later.Been using it for 2 days now.Brilliant product. If one doesn't want to shell out a fortune for a JBL charge2, then this is the one to go for. Infact in many respects it makes the JBL look way too overpriced. Good battery backup as of now. Supposedly can be used as a power bank in case of an emergency although I have not tried that feature yet. The box comes with the speaker unit, one 3.5mm aux cable, one USB to micro USB cable for charging although the adapter is not provided. I use my phone charger to charge; it requires any good 5v charger.Overall, totally satisfied with the SB525.

Worth Buying...Good Sound with Loud Bass
Pros: Sound Quality is very good, especially Bass is very loud and clear. Has nice capacity to make a room approx size 14×14(ft) turn into a music zone (had not used in room bigger than this). Used it to watch movie on Laptop, gave a theatre sound quality. Can be used outdoor, Was able to bear a free fall from approx 3 feet (did not had a chance to witness more than that), good paly time (have played continously uto 7hrs, at mid volume), can charge your mobile / other items through its power outputCons:-Abit bulky, takes much time to get fullycharged, does not have any slot for memory card to play muaic directly, No FM

₹2.5k for 20 minutes of music!
Once it arrived, I was really excited about it. But since the manual asked to charge it for5 hours prior to its first use, I waited. When I played the first song, I was mesmerized with the bass. It was the best bass I have ever heard on a Bluetooth speaker. After that I played various genres of music in order to check the speaker and it was doing good until the sixth song, after which the sound started to crack. It was on 75% of volume and I thought lowering the volume would help, but the cracking didn't stop.I am totally disappointed with Soundbot, build quality could have been better by including fabric braided mesh instead of using a metallic one and using bass radiators which could hold the output of that powerful speakers.I have ordered a replacement, since Amazon doesn't allow to refund at first. I really liked the speaker before the sound cracking incident, let's see how the next one turns up..

Powerful speakers but could have have sounded better
Powerfull speakers but i wish Sounbot tuned it better.. it could have sounded much better. Sound is muffled but that varies from genre to genre. M really happy with the bass, its deep. But i still wish if they tuned it better. Good battery life. Id say its overpriced @4990 rs n also say that sharkk boombox sounds way more balanced @ 1000 rs cheaper.

Bang for your buck
Great product. Powerful and clear audio loud enough for indoor usage. Deep thumping bass thanks to the passive radiators. Comparable to the Flip 3 and xb20 which cost more. Good service from Soundbot which includes replacement warranty. Highly recommended for the price.

The output was excellent when music was played on a Asus phone and ...
This is definitely a worth buy. Although the output varied from one phone to another. The output was excellent when music was played on a Asus phone and it was average when played via Samsung phone. Not sure why it is so as the same song was copied from laptop to both phones.

For $30, it's okay, but some distortion and no smart charging.
I'm no audiophile and this is my first portable bluetooth speaker. The only other one I ever listened to was The Pill a couple years ago - it sounded great in the store, but is out of my price range. I mainly want it to listen to podcast and audiobooks while I swim outside or work in the yard, so it needs to be pretty loud. This one is just barely loud enough for that purpose, but will do. For blasting music in your livingroom, a tad louder would be better. No way Pink Floyd is even close to being loud enough. Took it in my car with some Hendrix and felt there too, it could be louder to really rock. On the positive side, I probably shouldn't be listening to music that loud anyways. As for music, I've been playing around with it and there is quite a bit of distortion/vibration/muddiness at higher volumes. Disappointing. I must say some (pop/rock) music is absolutely awful at much more than 1/2 volume. Now this was $30 and I haven't fooled around with an equalizer yet to see if that would help. I wish I could do a side-by-side comparison with more expensive models. My budget was <$50.Connecting to bluetooth was very simple with my Huawei Mate 2. I could go anywhere in my 1300 sq. ft. house and didn't lose connection. Speakerphone seemed to work, but only took one short phone call. I haven't tried charging my phone with it yet. It didn't fit into my car's cupholder - no big deal.I was hoping to get dual use from it but I'll probably continue to plug my phone into my bookshelf stereo so I can get the clarity and volume I want for music. Would be fine for lower volume dinner parties. It doesn't seem to have the clarity of The Pill nor the volume nor the price.Having nothing to compare it to, I would say it is adequate for $30, but nothing write home about. ONE BIG COMPLAINT: you need to make sure and unplug it after the battery is fully charged. Why they don't have a smart internal charger that stops the charging is inexcusable. I was also hoping to use it for a TV and leave it plugged in.At $30-$35 it's probably fair. I won't pay more than $50 for a throw away item. Shopping for these is a nightmare!

I'm completely satisfied!
ALL I COULD HOPE FOR--and at what a SAVINGS!I'm Old School when it comes to stereos, speakers, turntables and home listening. I haven't been a "serious" listener in many years.Playing music through headphones or earbuds does not please me at all. Why?I once had a wonderful home Hi-Fi and great speakers. There is nothing to compare with listening with a room filled with acoustic music rather than siphoned into my inner ear like a hypodermic needle.___Having given that preamble--on to my REVIEW!____I watched about 20 YouTube Reviews of various Bluetooth speakers to familiarize myself with state-of=the-art technology.I'm now 70-years-old and I don't keep up the way I used to (reading every Stereo Review and Hi Fidelity magazine I could get my hands on.)I did not want to spend much money at all.The videos side-by-side comparisons made me decide to take the plunge and order the SoundBot 525._____________I ordered with same day shipping and 6 hours later I was auditioning the new speaker. With absolutely ZERO experience, I was able to connect my iPhone and my Chromebook laptop.(HINT: You must only connect one at a time or the second one will not connect.)The sound, the quality of workmanship, the presentation, and the ease of handling left little doubt in my mind this was a very satisfactory purchase for me.I like using my SoundBot with the laptop as the controller. Why?I have downloaded a great many music files by first converting YouTube music to .mp3 files and storing them in a Google document file.I highlight the file name (CTL+A) and "open with" the Google player.Presto! I am playing an album of my own making just exactly the way I wish to hear it.Moreover...I use an Equalizer on my laptop to precisely craft the shape of the sounds I'm hearing.SoundBot 525 is as close to perfect in reproducing the sound of my favorite music as is achievable.I highly recommend you give this product a good audition the way I did.Two suggestions:1. Carrying strap ring or handle would be a wonderful addition2. The ability to "pair" two of these speakers would trigger another purchase instantly.I've owned this item one day. It has been a truly soul-satisfying 24 hours.

SoundBot SB525 vs. JBL Charge 2 + - Excellent sound from both.
I already have a JBL Charge 2+ which I love. I previously loved the Bose Soundlink Mini, but the JBL is superior sound wise in my view. Anyway, when I saw the Soundbot SB525 with good reviews and a low price, I had to try it. So far the sound is pretty close to matching the JBL which is remarkable for the low price. The JBL may sound just a bit sweeter on the mid and treble, but you need to listen hard for that. Bass is similar to the JBL. There are two minor niggles though with the Soundbot that you don't have with the JBL. The first is no plug into the wall cord for charging but only usb. I used my iPhone charger with the Soundbot provided cable and that worked. It may just be me, but being limited to a usb source for charging is somewhat inconvenient. Not a deal breaker, but inconvenient. Second, as mentioned by another reviewer, the speaker cannot remain with the charging cable plugged in but must be removed when fully charged to preserve the battery. Another somewhat inconvenient issue to have to be attentive about. So, you have an extremely reasonably priced and fine sounding speaker with good bass, and then a couple of minor quibbles. I don't know if the latter issues are enough to cause someone to want to buy the JBL at roughly three times the price. Sound wise the Soundbot SB525 is great. Overall, taking into account the minor inconveniences here, I'd rate the Sound Bot a 4.4. At the same time, I'd give the JBL a 4.8 for a very small issue with the unit tending to physically roll on some surfaces.

Before this I owned soundbot sb520 bluetooth speaker which is really great but sb525 offered the best of everything
This is my first review for any products. Before this I owned soundbot sb520 bluetooth speaker which is really great but sb525 offered the best of everything.me and my friends are amazed of the sound and the features at this price range.I truly love this speaker. It has 7W + 7W HD loud speakers & premium drivers. It has Built-in 4000mAh Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery with a full size usb power outputs to charge your phone or portable device with a standard usb cable. Playback time: 15 hours(wired),12 hrs(Bluetooth)Connection range: about 35 feetCharging time: about 3-4 hoursAudio Port: 3.5mmBuilt in mic for hands free callsFashionable and stylish designStainless steel brush metal finishCan be placed vertically or horizontally. Im no audiophile by any means, just your average consumer, but I like my music to sound good and this makes it sound great! The build quality of sb525 is great , has a premium feel and it doesn’t feel cheap at any time. The sound emitted from this speaker is the best in this price range. Even at maximum volumes it doesn’t distorts at all. I will say that it is not comparable to a full size jambox, home theater system, or other type of larger sound system. It is something very compact and perfect for listening to music at home, in the office, in the back yard, small party or to take on a road trip. I was lucky enough to be able to compare this with jbl charge 2 side by side as a friend of mine has jbl charge 2. Sound quality is almost same, but the price difference is much more. In short you are getting much more than what you are paying for. I hope this reveiw would help you in purchasing this product. Thanks for reading this review.

SB 525 best Bluetooth speaker under 50$
This is one of the best sounding Bluetooth speaker for its price range. The sound quality is excellent. it has good bass at lower volumes making the sound rich. It easily competes with Bluetooth speakers in the 100$ price range in terms of sound quality. It distorts at higher volumes depending on the song, but this is expected, most Bluetooth speakers distort at higher volumes. If you want something close to the JBL charge 3 but don't want to spend that kind of money, this is your best bet. The downside is that this speaker is not water resistant, so it cannot get wet or be close to the pool, unlike the JBL charge 3 or vava voom 20 that could get wet and be fine. They should have included a stereo speaker pairing mode, to pair with other soundbot speakers but that may be asking for to much for the price. I did research to determine the best sounding Bluetooth speaker for a good price and I narrowed it down to this or the vava voom 20. Some speakers are loud but lack bass and body and just sound like amplified phone speakers. I definitely the recommend the SB 525 for the price.
