ZAKIRA Straw Boater Hat Handmade in Italy

This is a beautifully, well-made hat! It looks great on, and the straw is beautiful! The band around the hat is actually sewn on! If you wanted to change the color of the band, you could easily place a 1 1/2 " ribbon over it.My only disappointment is that the hat was shipped in a box that was too small, and the edges of the hat were curved up slightly on each side; making the brim not flat, but curved! I placed the hat on a flat surface and weighted each side down, and left the hat for awhile, and the brim did flatten out. They need to ship the hat in a slightly larger box!! Other than that, this hat is the real deal for a boater style hat! Worth the price :)

I bought this hat for a 1920s themed wedding and everyone loved this hat! It looked great, high quality, and expect the size to be true. I have a big head and I ordered the XXL figuring it would run a little small but it doesn’t, so it was a little big but that was my fault. If you want an authentic looking and high quality boaters hat, don’t worry, this will surpass your expectations!!

Bought this to supplement my original straw boater hat that has a red band. The hat arrived quicker than originally specified and is a good value. As other reviewers pointed out, there are "better" and more "authentic" products on Amazon; however, this hat fits the bill for variety of colors for teh casual wearer.

Won A Best Dressed Competition. Could not have won it without it. The hat looked better in person. You can tell they took the time to package it to ensure a pristine product was delivered. I Love it.

This was the first boater hat I ever owned and I love it!! I wear it everywhere I go and I never leave the house without it. Even though it was kinda big. *when getting a boater hat, ORDER A SIZE SMALLER THAN YOUR USUAL SIZE(ex. if you are a medium, order a small.) boater hats are shallow-depth hats that will easily fly off your head in windy conditions.*

Good construction, looks great on me. Warning to other buyers: Don't expect it to look as good on you. Everything looks better on me.
