Buen Libro

Great book.
This book does a really good job of telling Jaina's story and role in World of Warcraft. I would reccomend to anyone who plays or is just interested in WoW lore. :)

Excellent book compared to some WoW titles
Recap: Read it, one way or another. Much better than other WoW books with Alliance characters in the front and center. It's not only an achievement for Golden, it opens a much less predictable storyline than "Oh no! A dragon! Let's kill it!"TLDR: I love to read WoW lore books, but I'm usually pretty dismissive when it comes to quality. I don't kid myself that they will be paragons of prose. I have always found WoW books with an Alliance character as the main character to be *especially* lacking, other than The Last Guardian. And Golden in particular has been the last on my list of WoW authors. What a difference 329 pages makes! This is a terrific book. I have many friends who read it in one sitting of a few hours but I forced myself to stretch it out over a week or so to keep the entertainment going. It's a great plot and good character development. I like Thrall more than ever, and Aggra is slightly less annoying to me now. Heck, she's cool.FINALLY, FINALLY Jaina Proudmoore has a fully-rounded personality! She is more than the milquetoast, out-of-touch, upper-crust, semi-hippie living in her ivory tower sipping tea and dreaming of the day the Horde and Alliance will lay down arms and coexist peacefully. She's been stuck in the aftermath the death of her father and brother and her character development has moved forward very little. From start to finish Golden did a wonderful job finally giving Jaina teeth and a memorable storyline; I finally take Jaina seriously as a mature adult instead of a dewy-eyed idealist. The book is a huge achievement for Golden and in my opinion a much more compelling than Cataclysm: The Shattering, and not only in terms of Jaina's character development. It's not only an achievement for Golden, it opens a much less predictable storyline than "Oh no! A dragon! Let's kill it!"

Bello
