Over 16 hours of special features and beautiful stereoscopic 3D feature film restoration
A movie which released 83 years ago by this time of my writing - still stands testament to its time by being enjoyable and truly magnificent. The 3D and 1080p restoration has been so well done and makes this blu ray worth every penny you drop on it.Its a must have for any home video collector and the 16 hours of special features is no joke.Disc 1 - Feature film in 3D + some minimal special featuresDisc 2 - More special featuresDisc 3 - More more special features.Eventhough its not the limited collected release India has got, for a discounted price of 750 bucks I had my money's worth!

A Classic Remastered on Blu Ray.
This is a classic movie which has been loved by all generations.A must watch if you are into classic american movies. It has some black and white parts. Skilfully restored on blu ray. It proved to be a good addition to my collection. I am also looking forward to buy the steelbook from US which is not available in India. It would have got 5 stars if it had a bonus disc but it proved to be a nice buy. Thanks Amazon for your fast and keen service.

like every movie today
Classic! My son had not seen this movie that I grew up with. Even though it is not C.G. like every movie today, the sets are amazing and the story classic.

Golden movie with great 3D
Evergreen movie, kids loved it. I was a bit sceptical at first about 3D rendition of an old movie but it is fantastic. Worth the buy.

A childhood classic for us all!
I'm sure you all know the story by now...Dorothy leaves the safety of Aunt Em in a magical journey to Oz, where she befriends a Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion in her quest to get back home to Kansas. A simple task if ever there was, apart from the cackling Wicked Witch of the West who is determined to reclaim the ruby slippers from Dorothy, who was given them straight off the Wicked Witch of the East's feet by the beautiful Witch of the North. Which witch?!A classic musical filled with bright colours, fantasy characters brought straight from childhood imaginations and memorable songs (Follow the yellow brick road...follow follow follow follow...) and lines (Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!).Put aside your adult-hat and maturity and enjoy this film for what it is. A wonderful film which has retained its magical crown for almost 80 years. I prefer this version to any other, the acting is great and the transition from black and white to colour, coinciding with Dorothy's arrival in Oz, was genius at the time.Buy it, watch it, enjoy it and treasure it!

lots of singing and amazing colours. The witch can be a little frightening ...
A classic that should always be in the dvd collection...A movie of courage, and friendship, lots of singing and amazing colours. The witch can be a little frightening for young children and maybe even the wizard himself. A teen who is into their dance and stage performing will love this, adults too

NOT JUST A CHILDREN'S STORY
This modern fairy tale is a classic story of the fight between good and evil and the human condition. It is a vast resource for the composition of church sermons and an equally vast resource for antireligious sentiments. Now read the book!

Its Xmas,buy it!
Product arrived on time in good knick, and well priced. The transfer to DVD is o.k. and the whole package was good. As for the movie itself, you'll have seen it on Xmas tv dozens of times already and you're either a fan or not.
