The Yoga Handbook

This book gives good pictures and explanations of how to achieve each pose. I had been practicing some poses for years, but this showed me a safer and more efficient method to achieving the pose. Also the book offers simpler alternatives that can be used to build up to the final poses. It also explains the benefits of each pose.

Good book on Basic Yoga instruction, that is good for beginners and some instructors, goes into more detail than some Yoga books, I have been doing Yoga a long time, just practice, get a certain asana down, then move on to others, stay with it, and do the ones that work for you and help your body the best, in your opinion. Make it your life, you will never regret it 20-40 years from now!

A required book for my yoga schooling. We referred back to this book daily. I refer to this when sequencing my own classes. Surprisingly cheap too.

Love Yoga? This is a great book for yoga students to learn along side a teacher. I gave it to a Trainee Yoga teacher when she finished her course with me. She found it very helpful as she began to teach. Clear and precise pictures and diagrams.

I'v being practising yoga for some years now, the yoga handbook has been one of the best yoga books I'v come across for use in my daily practice as a reference guide to all poses... highly recommend for all levels as a reference guide.

Cover a little bit torn, but that's what I expected.
