Civic EX filter
This is the replacement filter for the Civic EX. If you use the filter for the DX or CX or whatever, it's not the right size. Whoever installed the previous filter in my Civic used the wrong part, and the filter was actually bent into the airbox from intake pressure.This filter works great. I can feel the difference, the old one must have been dirty. I don't believe in performance air filters for a car that is tuned as finely as this Civic. Honda and Wix know what they are doing!

I switched a few years back. I only buy a few at a time because the vehicles I tend to purchase are much older. Currently own 2000 Honda crv.I checked out the Wix's website for the size I needed.

Listed as SI-VTECDOES NOT fit honda del sol Vtec trim, filter is too small.That said the filter is well constructed with rigid mesh backing and supple gasket.
