Amazing Hot Rod figure. Great improvement over Classics Hot Rod, and a great toy by himself.
Vehicle Mode: The vehicle mode looks amazingly G1, yet manages to be a sleek modern take. No silver paint on side grills, no flame paints on the side. 8/10.Transformation: Smooth transformation with only minor tab problems on the elbows. 4/5Robot Mode: The chest supercharger has a great sculpt & nice silver paint. Amazing head sculpt. Head and chest paint shouts Hot Rod. Well proportioned limbs. The shoulder stacks bother some people, as they are quite large, and cover the spoiler. Well thigh-to-shin ratio, steady feet. However, there is a lack of paint in the arms, carrying over from the vehicle mode sides. 9/10Overall: Great callback to G1 yet a modern update. Higlly recommended. 21/25 = 4.6 out of 5 stars.
