These crochet breast models are ideal for a doula, midwife, lactation consultant, or other pregnancy and parenting educator. Use them to assist in teaching about hand expression, proper latch, and more. Choose from the unweighted option which is filled with polyester fiberfill for a lighter model that is easier to hold and manipulate. The weighted option has more of a "beanbag" feeling and is more dense in the center of the model. The weighted model is filled with polyester pellets. Lactation consultant loves this model!
I’m a lactation consultant, and I’ve been doing primarily telehealth consulting for the last two years, and of course in 2020. This breast model has been perfect for demonstrating various holds, breast compression, hand expression, and other techniques. It’s far superior, and far more affordable, than the medicalized models I’ve used before. Plus it’s really cute! I love the fact that it comes in different colorations. (I just ordered a second one so that I won’t be running around the house yelling to my family “Where did I leave my breast?!”) Great tool, highly recommend.
