a skeleton with a pose
This is just so wonderful for Halloween, or your quirky dark side. The child skeleton comes with extra bones to make him able to have bends in his knees, arms and have different hands. This gives you more posing abilities. This little guy has ball joints and you can raise and lower his arms and legs, twist his torso, turn the bones in the legs and arms around, move his head around. So many possibilities! These are very small parts and will need to be kept away from small children and babies. If you have collector dolls that you dress for Halloween, these are perfect for them.

A (Partially) Working Stiff
It seems obvious now that I have it in front of me, but this little skeleton is NOT as versatile or flexible as the Pose Skeleton (1) or (3). Instead of joints at the knees and elbows, the child skeleton has pre-bent legs and arms that you have to switch in and out to make different poses. I couldn't read the package image here so I thought it was showing the joints in action, not the extra pieces that come with the skeleton. The arms and legs pop off of the ball joints and leave little nubs, which are actually really hard to snap new limbs back onto, since the ball joints move around a lot. I'm afraid I'm going to break it! And of course if you change out legs or arms, you also have to pop off and replace the hands and feet, which are very tiny! I don't think this guy can hold anything in its tiny hands, either, despite having "grabby" hands. On the plus side, the range on the jaw is very good (unlike skeleton (1) ) so you can do a big open mouth very easily, and the shoulders have better range than Skeleton (1) (this one can actually have arms straight out)The skeleton can stand on its own (when it has straight legs installed) which is really cool. It's just really fidgety and you have to really think ahead about what pose you want to make in the end, instead of just goofing around like you can with the bigger skeletons. So keep that in mind when you purchase.

My pose skeleton child is super tiny and cute
My pose skeleton child is super tiny and cute! His elbows and knees don't bend so you'll have to remove and replace his arm and leg pieces to "pose" him. I struggled a bit with this. I think the pieces need to be broken in a bit to make switching parts out a little easier.Unfortunately for me, my child arrived with a crooked jaw. But I suppose that gives him a bit of character and individuality.Pics show pose skeleton 1(adult) and 2(child).

Fun, but frustrating skeleton.
Pros - Cheap, neat little skeleton. The detail and articulation make a great little Halloween decoration or a simple action figure.Cons - Instead of hinges for elbows and knees, the skeleton has pre-bent elbows and knees you must change out for other poses. Changing limbs is extremely frustrating as the peg joint slips around. I wish it had hinges. The plastic is also soft, and upon changing out the hands for the straight arm, the hand peg twisted out and remained stuck in the arm.All in all, this skeleton is a hassle to deal with. I recommend leaving it in its default position for your sanity.

Its super cute!Though don't expect it to be as flexible as the other 2 pose skeletons. This one doesn't have ball joints on its knees and elbows, it only have parts that are replaceable to make it do other poses.still an awesome product and as an artist, it can help you with some poses that you don't really see everyday.And.. *cough* undertale *cough*

the adults are better but...
the adult pose skeletons are better because they have more articulation points. the children are so small it isn't really possible to make them as articulated. i still really like it though.

probably not what your expecting but I loved it. I made it a hoodie for it
Small, very small, probably not what your expecting but I loved it. I made it a hoodie for it... I don't recommend this since I had to make THREE mock hoodies before I got one to work. If you get the bigger skeles he makes for a cute baby skele for your set

I would recommend it as toy for older kids
This toy is very realistic looking! I would recommend it as toy for older kids, since the parts are very small. Fun stuff - and shipping is very fast!
