Much better sight picture than the factory sight.

I like this sight, it's bright and gives your firearm a much better sight picture than the white dot that came with the firearm. Installation is not difficult but if you get the Glock sight tools, It's much easier to install.Sight tools are only $7.00 or so. Well worth it.

I bought this front sight for my Glock 26. I have also, in the past, purchased these sights for numerous other guns. I am very happy with the high quality of these sights. They are extremely bright during the day and are visible even in low light conditions. ( low light.... NOT no light, they are not night sights. ) Installation was a breeze.......I took them to a gunsmith !!!!!!!! LOL These are quality sights and I will definitely be purchasing more soon. I have other HiViz sights on my Ruger MK III pistols and on a couple of rifles and they work great. On my Glock it was just kinda there not doing much for me. For hunting and target shooting applications it's fine but for self defense I would just rather not count on something that may or may not be visible when I need it. Depending on the lighting the sight is highly variable. I don't want highly variable on my concealed carry gun. The sight is also a little long on the frame. I went back with the original factory sight. It works fine for me as my sights are typically kept in my lightly focused periphery for most of my defensive shooting applications using a point shooting method and co-witnessing with the actual sights. For precision at distance the factory sight is more than adequate. If you like fiber optic sights, this one is very well made and once installed was surprisingly secure on my slide. Be sure to use some thread locker and it should stay in place just fine. At first I thought it was going to move around but it didn't. So for quality I would give it a 5 star rating but for my own personal usefulness and application it only gets 3 stars because it's just not my thing. The bolt on this sight is also tiny so you would be advised to get some type of Glock front sight tool as well. I used a pair of tweezers to get it started and then tightened it with the Wiha 26547 Precision Nut Driver, Inch, 3/16 x 60mm that you can also buy here on Amazon.

CONTRARY TO WHAT THE INFO SAYS...THIS SIGHT DOES NOT FIT THE GLOCK 42 & 43. IT SAYS 'EXCEPT 42 & 43' ON THE PACKAGING. THEY DO MOUNT ON THE SLIDE BUT ARE HIGHER THAN OEM. THIS MAKES THE GUN SHOOT LOWER THAN THE POINT OF AIM.I USED ONE ON MY 43 ANYWAY SINCE IT IS A BELLY GUN AND I DON'T PLAN ON HAVING TO USE THE SIGHTS FOR AN OBJECT FAR ENOUGH AWAY TO REQUIRE PRECISE AIMING. I JUST WANT TO FIND THE FRONT SIGHT QUICKLY AND GET ROUNDS OFF IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE IN THIS SHIPMENT FOR A FRIEND. HE BACKED OUT SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH THE SECOND ONE. I'LL USE IT ON ONE OF MY OTHER GLOCKS IN THE FUTURE, BUT IT IS $30+ I HADN'T PLANNED ON SPENDING THIS MONTH.

This front sight is exceptional for my older eyes to see. Very bright!

I installed this GLOCK front sight on a Taurus PT111 G2. All that was needed was very light file work to open up the tenon channel on the slide and it dropped in as if it were a GLOCK. It provides a clear bright sight picture has steel base and the fiber is protected...I need to add that the screw will need to be shortened, whether you use the original screw or a substitute. I used a popsickle stick that I drilled an undersize hole through to hold the screw while modifying with a file.

This was super easy to install. The green fiber is large, bright and easy to acquire the front sight for tactical sight picture. For more accuracy, the crisp black ramped post around the green fiber tube allows precision sight alignment. What I don't like is this sight is not truly a simple green round fiber element. It is encapsulated in a tube almost like a depleted glow stick. This probably reduces some light transmission. So it could be brighter if it is a simple molded translucent fiber, like that of my HiViz shotgun sights.

Fits glock 17 gen 5. Perfect. 5 stars for the sight. And no stars for Amazon. Their customer service is going down hill big time. Goodbye Amazon. I’m done with you.

Easy install on g44, doesn't look out of place size-wise and the dot isn't that big, don't let the picture fool you
