DE-42FC Paper Folder Document Folding Machine up to 15000 pcs/hr; Center Feed; Allows Heavy & Glossy Paper Folding; Papers Folded Can Range in Size from 3.5" x 5" up to 11" x 17"

This was out of my price range but I bought because the video promised good performance with glossy paper at about any reasonable thickness. I received the machine and couldn’t get it to do anything but shoot paper on the floor. The user guide is almost useless. I called the company and got its only employee on the phone. After a couple frustrating hours, we agreed that he should look at the unit as it was not fully assembled. I said I would drive to his office to resolve the issue. There is no office or authorized repair site. I was told the machine would be returned, set just the way I need, so it will work out of the box. I shipped the machine (I paid shipping) to the storage unit that appears to be the company headquarters. I got it back in a couple days with very obviously used parts (both tables, rollers.) The machine was no where near set up for my work, nor could I get it to work with glossy or semi-gloss. I now own a YM1611 which cost less than half as much and works perfectly.

For the business, I was looking for a machine that can do quarter fold in Bulk. I found some Martin Yale machine but was told by their rep that the machine can't do quarter fold in bulk (you have to manually feed in the second pass) at the price point.Dynafold does the trick, although in some rare cases paper will be folded incorrectly (maybe 1 out of 15-30 pcs), but that could be due to the paper or inexperienced labor, and not the machine. As long as there is someone watching over the machine while printing it's fine mostly.I strongly recommend buying brand new Dynafold, I purchased a used Dynafold on Amazon previously and it had multiple issues and I had to return it. But a new one works out of the box.

Work great for our print shop

I couldn't get it to work at all. Also, it didn't come with any discernable directions or anything telling you how to use it. It says that you are not supposed to have any trouble figuring out how to get it to work. Not so. But like I said, I couldn't even get it to come to life. Paper weigh.

This machine is sold under false information. This will not do a tri-fold on lightweight cover stock. Manual and description is misleading.
