easy to use and works great used them on hayes bike brakes and worked perfectly.Went from no brakes to working as good as new.

Upgraded from mechanical brakes to sram level hydraulic brakes this kit did the job very well, fittings fit very well quality could be better but needles to say it did the job very well,,, satisfied customer and definitely recommend this product!

Perfect DIY kit
Purchased to bleed my Avid/SRAM Juicy 3 & Juicy 7 brakes. Product is exactly as advertised. I grabbed some proper brake fluid from the auto store, looked up a how-to video on YouTube, and bled 4 sets of brakes with ease. Saves money and time at the LBS and you feel like a legit bike mechanic afterwards!

The adapter works, the rest? Meh.
I bought this because I needed the adapter, I already have the rest of the tools needed for a brake bleed. So, if I was basing this review just on the adapter, I would have given it 4 stars. It works as advertised, it didn't leak, I was able to bleed my brakes. But if you're buying this kit because you need the syringe and the tubing, etc., just be aware that they're very basic. The tubing is thin and not very compliant. The syringe isn't going to last long with DOT fluid. It will probably work for a bleed or two, but it's not something you'll be adding permanently to your toolbox.

Nice brake bleeding kit
Neat kit. I bled my Elixir 5 and Code R brakes, front and rear in a couple of hours. Instructions are fairly straightforward.

Brake block did not fit
Tried to use on vintage Hayes mag brakes. Did not work!

Gets the job done
I don't know if I saved money by ordering this instead of genuine AVID part, but I was unsure which to order so I ordered this universal kit. It worked great. Save yourself some dough and bleed your brakes yourself.
