Artifact Uprising Baby Book Photo Album | Baby’s First Year Memory Book (Smoke Grey)

I bought this as a gift, but for my own curiosity's sake, I opened it before giving it. It is fantastic!The cover and typography throughout are subtle and gorgeous. The prompts are open-ended and not tied to a specific age or milestone, which takes the pressure off parents for filling it out without sacrificing any of what makes a baby book special.It also has spots for parents or friends to write letters to the baby, and because the pages are removable, you could send them with somebody without sending the whole book with them or asking them to write one on the spot. Artifact Uprising also offers additional pages on their website, so if you mess up any or run out of space, you have the opportunity to add more. The rings are like that of a binder and are very sturdy.It's pricy, but no more expensive than other baby books of similar design - like the one from Sugar Paper, for instance, which does not have the option for additional pages. If I remember correctly, it also comes with some free prints from Artifact Uprising so you can get started on printing out photos to put in the book.It's really great to give, too. The box it comes in is excellent for gifting and has the same sort of texture as the color of the book, and the pages inside come tightly wrapped in plastic to keep them from getting bent or torn in transit.Overall, this is a lovely gift and I plan to get one for myself whenever I have children. I think it'd be a lovely gift for new long-distance grandparents, too, to ship the pages as you fill them out to add to their own book. Just beautiful.

This is a gorgeous baby book. I personally lie it because it’s easy to fill out even if you’re late to the process (like me!). It appears tasteful and will look good sitting out if desired. The only reason that it’s 4 stars is the price, slightly overpriced in my opinion but I couldn’t find anything else that I liked as well.

I feel like this was a really price memory book. It also is very specific and I was looking for something more general. If you want to add your own creative touch or direction this is not for you. However it’s nice quality and has a great classic design.

It’s a nice product and it was well packaged but the top right corner of all the pages were bent. I don’t know how they could have been bent because it was in a protective cardboard box and the pages were shrink wrapped but all of them are definitely bent.

This is such a beautiful baby book. I like that it is broken down into months. Packaging and book itself was all beautiful.

This will be great to look back on. It is lengthy but not too hard to complete. Very sturdy and well made.

Ordered this book in Charcoal Grey and received the wrong color. Going to return it.
