I have used over 6 months now, the idlis slot don't have tiny holes, but that does not matter, idlis come off easily, the inside rod to hold plates could be better, the steamer handles are very good, it has light body which is easy to use and clean.

The plates are more like out of toys than actual plate sizes . Compared to Indalium(Or aluminium) Idli cooker set, this SS is no competition. The material thickness is thin and not firm as seen with old idli cookers. These days , the market wants the customers to keep buying new products (the same product) always .

It took no time to deliver to my place, so i m happy for speedy delivery by amazon. About the product, the cooker is of good quality but the plates inside seems to be of cheap quality steel. I have gotten rusted plates and the screw are not tight enough to hold plates together. I used the cooker on induction base which it withstand perfectly. No complains if they change the plate qyality.

The plates were incompatible with the holder (bigger holes); the black tightener was missing and edges of the plate (near the holes) sharp. Some discrepsncy here, as this product was pretty good when I used it previously (bought from shop). Found the same kind of edges from a diff brand I returned earler. Hence it seems like some discrepancy. Difficult to rate the product under these circumstances.
