Nativity Scene Advent Candle Holder

I can’t begin to tell you how very beautiful this is. I was afraid it looked too plastic or it was not heavy enough or it was too cheesy. As other reviewers have stated, It’s not wood but it’s a good quality resin, quite heavier than I was expecting, and it does not give you that plastic look and feel. The images are well outlined and they are cute. I was surprised with the inner circle because I thought it was deeper but it’s shallow, with woody look. It definitely does not look good on its own. I have certain difficulties to find candles that fit (I think this year thick candles are not fashionable and the thicker I had were just too thick for the ring). What I managed to do, just as it’s seen in the pics, was to put an IKEA candle with a vase and it fits quite ok, leaving but a little space

My little kids can't break it! My 2, 4, and 6 year old kids drooped it on my wood floors when unpacking it from the shipping box and it didn't even scratch, dent or damage it in the slightest! I love that it's beautiful, functional and most of all, toddler resistant (when the candles are not in place of course!).

This advent wreath is beautiful. We enjoy all the scenes around the base and bought ourselves a battery operated flicker candle for the middle candle, which is often called the Jesus Candle. I only gave them 4 stars however, because the offer seemed a little pricey, at $70 and it seemed to indicate the 4 advent candles were part of the package, but it came without any. Be aware of that then, and know you are only buying the wreath with no candles. Nonetheless, it is beautiful and will be treasured for years.

I first found this on ebay for $65. Better price here on Amazon, plus free shipping! Made of durable resin, and much more of a keepsake than a standard advent wreath. Some photos have an almost "crayola" look to them, but actual paint isn't that stark. Has a nice carved look, and we love how it has a new scene for each side. Also, some advent wreaths that depict creche scenes do not have room for the Christ candle in the center, but this one of course does.I have been looking for an advent wreath for 2 years now, and I am not disappointed with my purchase, and neither is my husband (to whom it was gifted). It was better than he'd hoped for!

Very Nice. Just the size I was looking for to replace my too-big-for-the-kitchen-table, wreath-type Advent candle holder. This reminds me of the Jim Shore figurines; not quite as detailed/colorful, but close. It has a recessed, circular area in the center; I don't want to put another candle in that area (as they show in the photo). I may try to find a white poinsettia flower for it. Another small issue is I had to carve off the bottoms of my candles because the holders are more narrow than most. [When I decided to write a review, the price had increased $10.00 from what I paid for it a couple weeks ago!]

Love it! I have been looking for some time for an advent wreath that would be a keepsake. This is very sturdy and solid. Looks great on the table. The sides are detailed, but not overwhelming. We have never used a middle Christ candle (always just changed to 4 white candles on Christmas). I may use a middle candle, if not, a little figure of Jesus in the manger would fit perfectly. Very pleased and highly recommend!

We think the Nativity candle holder is beautiful and adds to family traditions.

I was looking for an advent wreath to replace the one we have been using for 23 years. I wanted it to be special but not too expensive. I had been looking at this one for a few months and did not initially buy it because of the price. After searching for the right advent wreath for months, I could not find anything. So I finally purchased this one and was so glad that I did! It is just beautiful and completely worth the price. It looks a lot more expensive than what I actually paid, even! Very pleased!
