Toddler Silicone Placemat Montessori Dining Mat

We’ve only had this mat for about 36 hours but I’ve already ordered a second for my daughter. My son, who usually pushes his cup as far away as he possibly can, loves to place his cup on the spot that it belongs. His bowls do not slide across the table as he inexpertly scoops out food. It is very thin so you cannot transfer food on it but as that was not my intention I don’t mind. It wipes clean easily. It’s anti-slip but is not sticky. In summary, I love it so far!

We LOVE this placemat. My son was 19 months when we got it and he sits at the table in his own chair. I was finding it hard to help keep him on track with eating and this helped so much. He caught right on. Even puts everything where it belongs.It is NOT sturdy but as a placemat for a child, i dont think it should be. I hand wash it after every meal with dish soap and warm water, and let it dry with his plate on our dish rack. I couldnt love it more.Well, two nights ago i made ravioli in the crockpot. Somehow his placemat ended up tossed in the sink with the soaking crockpot, when i returned to clean up, his placemat was completely stained. Now, I'm pretty skilled with stains and this defeated me terribly. I was so upset first because my son's placemar that we use 3 times a day was ruines, then having to purchase a new one, and then its sold out! I was really upset. I soaked and scrubbed it on and off for an hour.So, i was talking to my husband about it and he suggested vinegar. I use vinegar on EVERYTHING, its a great natural disinfectant. I let it soak in hot water, soap, and vinegar. When i went back about an hour and a half later, the stain was almost gone! It took about two refills of hot water and 3 hours but its like brand new!!In closing, wonderful placemat, if it stains, soak in vinegar and ta da! See the photos!!!

Smaller than I had imagined but so great! My daughter (18 mo) loves using it to set the table for herself. Will be getting more!

Looks good so far (just arrived and opened). Perfect size for my 2yo, though packaging warns it’s meant for 3yo and up. Soft material doesn’t slide around, though I’m not sure that’ll be the case when it gets wet. Will need to test with my toddler but so far so good.

it stays put but doesn't collect dust and hair like most silicone mats. My toddler loves the guided spots and it's super easy to clean!

This mat is perfect for the Montessori home when teaching your child about proper place settings and that every object has its own space. It is easy to rinse off or wipe down which is a must with babies/toddlers. I prefer this silicone one over cloth ones because of the easy clean up and less laundry. It also helps keep dishes from sliding around as much.

I was looking for an easier to clean Montessori style placemat because my baby is still young and this is just perfect!

My son loves to eat with his placemat. The school he attends uses these, and so we got him one for home. Helps toddlers keep their food place in front of them but also makes setting up the table fun.
