however it seems pretty good to me
I don't have experience of another trail camera to compare this to, however it seems pretty good to me. It does have some shortcomings: It's quite hard to open the bottom flap; the whole things is in two halves so aiming the camera is a bit hit and miss (but maybe that's the same for ones inside a box); and it has misted over. But for the price I think it's pretty good. We have it next to a bird feeder and while it often misses the birds as there's a delay while it takes a picture, it does get them on video. It also caught cats in the garden at night around 10m away. The instructions aren't so great and so I'm not sure what all the features do. It doesn't seem to take pictures that are the same standard as my other 12 MP camera but they certainly aren't bad and the video is clear enough. I paid less than £70 for this to see if we'd use it, and it works and we have. I'm glad I didn't pay twice as much for what I suspect is only a bit more functionality.

Good buy but sensitive
Super, super sensitive. We have over 1000 videos (all about 4 seconds long) because either the stream or the bushes were triggering the camera. Not great for a wildlife camera but you can change the sensitivity; however we've only used the 'normal' sensitivity. Because of this, the batteries which were supposed to last around 6 months only lasted maybe a week or so.Really good quality image, but will continue to play around with the setting.I'd definitely recommend this camera for quality.

I've only used the video setting with good day and nightime footage
Priced about right.I've only used the video setting with good day and nightime footage. The only complaint is that batteries don't last long enough so I bought a 6v power unit which in my opinion it needs.
