The Great Big Water Cycle Adventure (Look and Wonder)

Cute story to introduce or wrap up a water cycle science unit.
Really cute way to introduce the Water Cycle to 2nd graders at the beginning of the STEM unit.

Thumbs down for Upside down
Cute book but believe it or not, the cover is upside down (or is it the pages? One doesn’t know.) I opened the book up and low and behold the whole book is the opposite of the cover. I’m sure it’s a printing/binding error but I’m not cool buying a full priced brand new book at full cost and the whole thing is upside down. I really can’t understand how it got passed everyone and shipped that way. (No it was not an amazon warehouse “used” defected book or anything- at least it wasn’t noted anywhere.)

Lovely science book!!
I love this book! I’m such a science nerd and love teaching science to my class, this book is perfect for a living things topic with the lifecycle concept! The illustrations are very child friendly and easy to follow but at the same time providing lots of facts and information on the water cycle!I would love to complete the set and have all the books in the series

Brilliant non-fiction for kids, engaging and informative
My friend's daughter liked this book a lot; so much so, she asked to take it to nursery for show and tell. I can see why as the drawings are engaging, and it’s well written and informative – a rarity in non-fiction books for her age group. She has another in the series and found ‘Amazing Animal Babies’ to be equally good. Am going to explore the others in the series, too. Recommended!
