Excellent sounding RCA cable for the money.
If you have a revealing system, this cable will make a good difference. First thing i noticed when i switched RCA cables was the noise floor was lower. The treble was too sharp when first plugged in but after some break-in the treble has smoothen out. Tonality of the music is more natural than my last cable, which was a Furutech brand cable. The bass was tigher as well. Great value, worth the price.

Improves sound, better tonal balance, more system satisfaction
I've been pleased with Audioquest products so far, and have noticed improvements which each upgrade I've done.I upgraded to this cable from the AQ Tower. Speakers are Adam A7X (highly resolving studio monitors) and V90 Dac D/A.I noticed:Biggest: more balanced and less forward in the highs than Tower. I was able to set all my A7X eq settings to 0 DB with the Golden Gate, whereas before they were a bit hyped in the highs (ribbon tweeter). This was quite a difference and appreciated for my system. Another online reviewer noticed this as well, that the Towers are more hyped in the highs-Slightly better detail-Better resolution of stereoimage (objects were more locatable in the soundstage and seemed more cohesive)-Overall more pleasant, perhaps slightly smoother sound-Sound is not "warm" IMO, but somehow less "cool" than towerOf course it's all subjective, but because I wasn't sure what to expect, these are the things that jumped out at me when listening. Overall, these made me more satisfied with my system and sound, and made it more enjoyable, which is what I wanted with these cables.

Great ratio quality/ price
When i bought this, the price was 100 USD for 3 meters. At that price, this is a great deal. Sturdy product, strongly clips with connectors, optimal signal transmission.Looks like it will last for decades. As for the sound quality, it is doing great for the price. all frequencies are well delivered, sound pretty neutral and slightly warm in my setup.

Surprisingly good but ...
I did a listening comparison with this RCA interconnect, one from the World's Best Cables and one from Emotiva. The Golden Gate sounded the best, giving the highs in my Philharmonic BMR Monitors (which have a RAAL ribbon tweeter) a noticeable "sparkle." Unfortunately, Amazon sent an obviously used product when I had ordered a new one. I returned it. (The World's Best Cables were a distant second at making the music clearer. I wouldn't recommend the Emotivas.)

Nice Cables
I use a lot of this kind of stuff, Kimber, Cardas, Audioquest and I have always been impressed with Audioquest wires. Audioquest is good quality without the ridiculous price tag of some of the others. They are absolutely better than regular cables, better connectors and materials and they DO sound better, for those of us that can hear the difference. Some people can some people can't. In any event, I would recommend Audioquest cables to anyone.

A 10 out of 10! Great sound! Open sound!
I ordered 4 cable types and this one was a 10 when the others were a 4. I couldn't believe my ears! Only bad thing is the slopped connections are very hard to pull off the rca female connections on the unit. The sound is like a 3-D sound. Holographic sound!

Incredibly Impressive
Sometimes, a lot of times, claims by audiophiles are exaggerated or just untrue. Not so here.I played my remastered CD version of Fairport Convention's Unhalfbricking album. Side one, song one, Richard Thompson's "Genesis Hall", a song I've heard on all my many different systems over the past 40 years. First I played the song using standard, run of the mill RCA jacks that come with TV's, etc., as part of the package. Then I switched out the average plugs for these Audioquest Golden Gate cables. As noted, I've been listening to "Genesis Hall" for 40 years. With the new and admittedly expensive cables the music sounded better. I mean, it genuinely sounded BETTER! It wasn't night and day, but there was a distinctly observable audio difference which improved the sound. To be entirely candid I was surprised. I did not really think the reviews promising better sound were true, but they are.At $65 these are not inexpensive. But if you have the right system these cables are worth every penny. If I had known there would be such a noticeable difference I probably would have bought the next model up for around $100. If you can afford Audioquest's products and have a quality audio system take my advice and spend the money. I am very pleased I did!

Excellent Cable!!!!
These are excellent cables, very good quality. They are simple to install and sound incredible, I would highly recommend this product if your interested in superior sound and don't mind spending extra cash for it. If you don't really appreciate good sound or care then I would just go with something cheaper. I can notice the difference between cheap and expensive cables but that is because I am crazy OCD and can always hear the slightest crackle of static. I am by no measure a sound expert but I can notice the difference between good and bad audio quality.
