A basic and clean approach to using the runes for healing.
While there is a lot of useful information here (and the author of this book has obviously been working with the runes for a long time) I'm giving this book four stars because some of the rune interpretations run contrary to established ideas of the energy behind such runes. There is effective healing magic here, but make sure you know your runes well before picking up this book and running with it. You can use it as a reference and decide what makes sense to you, then discard from your practice what seems counter-intuitive or destructive. Other considerations: Yoga and eastern ideas are present throughout, which doesn't bother me but may irritate the hardline Asatruar. Sex and it's role in healing is also discussed pretty regularly, so be prepared for that as well. Definitely worth a read as supplementary material and considerations for your existing northern healing practices.
