Riehle's Select Popping Corn 3-Pack "Hulless" Gourmet Popcorn

Loved that the kernals all popped. Also enjoyed the smaller size of each popcorn

The blue popcorn did not pop well at all. We tried it several times and it always had many kernels that were too hard to eat. The white was the best for being fluffy and good flavor. The yellow was good but not quite as good as the white. I do not recommend ordering the 3 pack but I would order the white only. I do like the fact that it is hulless.

This popcorn didn't seem hulless to me... more like just the smallest kernels picked out of normal popcorn. The kernels are so tiny that I've had to modify my air popper to keep them from blowing out. Many of the kernels don't pop at all, and the hulls on the kernels that do pop are still very large and crunchy in relation to the popcorn itself. My family grew organic hulless popcorn 30 years ago, some of which I still keep in the freezer. Those kernels are larger, still pop at nearly 100%, and the hulls virtually disappear when popped (as close to "hulless" as popcorn can get). This brand was my first attempt at purchasing a different type of hulless popcorn, and I'm a little disappointed. It looks like my search for a suitable replacement will have to continue.

It's called "hull-less" because of the size, about 1/3 to 1/2 a normal popped kernel...hence the proportionate amount of hull. The flavor IS, in my opinion, BETTER than most. Follow popping instructions, I use coconut oil, olive oil, and real butter on occasion with salt from a mill/shaker...(mineral salts are "healthier". I'd buy it again, it's a nice treat. If you're going to share, pop extra.

Most of the kernels popped just fine, and although the bottles say hulless, this was some of the hardest hulls I have ever eaten. It makes it worse that the popped corn is very small also. The taste, however, is very good.

These are tiny little kernels. Less than half the size of a "normal kernel. It takes more then twice the unpopped volume to get a full poppers worth. (I use a microwave popcorn popper). Not worth the price.

This is by far the worst popcorn ever! What manages to pop at all is so small and the idea that it's even "mostly hulless" would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous to your teeth.

Flavor is good on the one variety we have tried so far, although the kernels pop fairly small. My husband loves orville redebacher because the kernels are huge, these are not quite that big but still tasty.
