I've used a few baby monitors since the birth of my daughter (now 3) and my son who is 4 months old. They vary in terms of picture quality, sound quality, battery life and connection integrity - usually one will be good and the others bad. This monitor exceeds in terms of picture and sound but falls a little short in battery life. The battery can be disconnected from the AC for about 3 hours before it needs to be reconnected. I don't have issues with that but it could be for some. The connection between the base unit and the camera has been very steady without any interruptions despite the amount of 2.4ghz and 5ghz devices in the house. I've used it as far as 50 ft away without any issues.

I bought this monitor to replace my 200$ monitor that stopped working and I’m kicking myself for not having done so sooner. The picture quality is excellent even better than the one I had and the sound is also great. I can keep the volume low but still hear my little guy if he make a peep but not too loud that it wakes the rest of the house. I am able to charge the monitor and carry it anywhere in my house and it holds its charge well. I am thinking about getting a second one for when I travel bc it’s so easy to install and use.

I ordered this camera bc I bedshare and I’d like to get up sometimes. I opened and charged it. The camera itself is much bigger then I expected. But it’s so light it feels weightless. The box has two cords, one for the camera and one for the monitor. They seem to be the exact same. I put it on an already existing shelf. It came with a shelf and some stickers. But it’s easier to use my existing shelf. The picture is so clear. It has no delay either. The sound was good too. I haven’t used it long term but it works very well. I think this is a great baby monitor.

I am using this camera since 2 weeks now and so far it works ok. I live in an apartment, so signal catching is not a problem for us. Monitor size is enough for a decent view and the quality is good. It is coloured on the daytime, and black and white on the night vision. The only issue we did not like is the monitor charge holds only 2-3 hours which is annoying as we use it during night time and it has to be plugged in the whole night but it is not a big deal if you have a plug next to my bed. Other than that it is a good quAlity for a decent price. I am happy with the purchase.

First of all it’s strange that all the reviews I read when I bought this camera has disappeared.This monitor is basic at best. I was not impressed with the picture quality but WAS doing It’s job. The daytime video is great, but nighttime is really poor.I bought this monitor April 25th and today August 8th.... it’s suffering from no signal. I have tried everything to get it to work, but nothing. This is quite bothersome as I am now without monitor for my son’s room. For an almost $70 monitor I expected it to last longer than 4 months.At this point, I don’t recommend this monitor.

Poor quality, low battery life, signal range not as described. I purchased the last CityMama baby monitor... once you realize how poor quality it is the listing will be taken down, the reviews that attracted you to the product will be mysteriously gone, and you will be left with on option for fixing this or for re-imbursement.

Horrible! First, the lullabies are very loud and the volume cannot be changed. They also are horrible tunes. Second, it worked great until I turned the lights off. The night vision camera kept turning on then off.

Great picture quality and sound.
