Excellent HDD for Samsung tv
Immediately recognised by my Samsung Neo Qled tv which then formatted, initialised and tested the drive. Ready to use in minutes. Made a quick recording of a half hour SD program which used 600MB of the 292GB available. Excellent product and brilliant value for money.

The HD is really straightforward to use and the storage is excellent.
The HD was purchased to store some photo and video clips from holidays. The HD is very slim and neat and does seem very straightforward to use.

Maxone Decent priced back up option
Maxone 500gig external drive review, out of box it was very slooow transferring large files >10gigwhat i did to resolve the issue, 1) reformat to NTFS file system2) win10 open win file explorer , right click on maxone drive letter, click: properties/ hardware tab/high light maxone drive, click properties, click change settings, click policy's, tick 'better performance', and 'enable write caching' is selected, click Ok,The drive picked up speed dramatically 15 gig file transfer @ 140 MB / sec, just remember to "Safely remove Hardware and eject media from task bar, " have also tried a oem usb 3 cable, worked better, crystal disk perf 1gig file speed approx 100 MB 1gig test seq128 hope this helps other reviewers who have had issues

Quite impressive
There is nothing much to say about this product.It is quite durable and has a slick look.Performs good so far (2 months) and price was right.

A brilliant gadget
I really like this clever piece of technology, I have backed up my files successfully using this and I have plenty of storage space left for when I do another back up, I bought the smallest amount for data so this was a really nice bonus.

Quite impressed so far
I've never bothered with a back up system in 20 years owning five laptops during this time but after the last laptop went bang and I was fortunate to rescue the hard drive contents, I decided to buy one. There are lots to choose from but I liked the description of this Maxone and it was a good price. It's easy to operate and it's compact. I am impressed so far.

Stopped working after one use
Worked fine the first time I used it to move my items on to. Went to use it again a couple of months after to move more on and it would not connect to computer. When moving the wire it seemed to connect then disconnect as soon as it was move a tiny bit so would not stay connected. Ordered a new wire thinking this would solve it…same problem so must be the actual hard drive itself. Now items are stuck on there and I also have no hard drive for everything else I need to move. Not happy.
