Great taste with 10g of protein, average carbs.....but no marshmallow!
Cloud10 treats are an excellent alternative to higher calorie, higher carb snacks with less protein, and they really do remind me of Rice Krispies treats.....but no marshmallow!! In contrast, the "high protein cookies" on the market have nearly 60G of carbs for one gigantic cookie. That's a lot!!The Birthday Cake edition of these treats has carnauba wax listed, which made me curious but it is indeed safe and widely used in foods. Carnauba wax is sourced from the leaves of a Brazilian palm tree Copernicia prunifera and has also been widely used in fruits, vegetables, sweets (M&Ms), pastries and other foods since the 1920s - and it is safe to eat.

Protein & Lots of Carbs, No Marshmallows
ProsTastes goodProteinConsNot made with marshmallowsA lot of carbs similar to Kellogg's rice Krispies barsExpensiveThe label is misleading. There are no marshmallows used in the ingredients and it does not taste like the familiar marshmallow ones. See photo for ingredients. The Amazon description and box clearly state marshmallows, see photo. Also, it says less sugar which is also misleading. This is a selling point to make this snack appear healthy. While technically true the difference is insignificant. A 37.5 gram serving has 22 carbs. Rice Krispies has a 22 gram serving and 17 carbs. Per serving there are more carbs. Density of carbs per unit is a little less - That's 5.8 grams of carbs per 10 grams of these and 7.7 grams of carbs per 10 grams of rice Krispies. But since a servicing is larger and one bar contains 2 servings you will probably end up eating more calories when you eat these.Overall, I like the taste of the original, texture was good and I'm thrilled these have protein. If you are eating these to be healthy though you may want to keep looking.

Yummy!
I bought these in the birthday cake flavor. I was a bit skeptical since I really like cakes and cookies and was worried that these would taste like every other protein cookie I've tried which are usually dry and kind of bland. I have to say, these are really tasty and remind me of the REAL rice Krispy treats just not quite as gooey. I can only eat half of a square a day because they are higher in sugar /calories/ carbs than my meal plan allows (I'm 5'1 and weigh 107 lbs) so I'm also not getting the full pack of 15 grams of protein at a time but it's ok. I still feel like I'm getting a treat without completely blowing my program. My husband likes them too and he's also a sugar addict but an athlete so he can have the full pack if he chooses. I didn't give it all 5 stars just because they aren't quite as healthy or "clean" as I try to eat but I still plan on buying them again. I gotta have my sweet treat!

Meh
I bought these because I’m trying to lose weight, and i have a huge sweet tooth. I thought these would be a good way to still allow myself to snack, while not ruining all my progress. Personally, when i looked at these, i saw they still have a decent amount of carbs and some added sugar, so they would still kind of be a “cheat snack/dessert” for the day. However I loved the added protein. All that being said, while the calories aren’t bad, the taste isn’t worth it to me. I would not crave these, and these wouldn’t satisfy me in replacement of something sweet. i wouldn't want to waste calories on these each day. They don’t remind me of dessert, but instead remind me more of a granola or cereal bar at best. I think these may grow on me with time as i continue to eat healthy and cut out sugar, but i dont think I would ever purchase these again.

Delicious!
Although it's pretty hard to validate the effects of protein in many products, I definitely felt an energy boost post-workout after eating one of these. After trying them for a few days, they're great for intermittent snacks to get you by your day, as well. I would especially like to note that as I'm definitely getting older, sweeter things are getting sweeter, these carry the taste of a birthday cake with the full sprinkle load but without even being as sweet as your run-of-the-mill rice crispy. In any case, my reasons for liking these can be summarized as: * Enjoyable after a workout * Great for a snack, less sugar and more protein for an athlete * Not too sweet, but still a treat!

BIG BOIS
These bars are BIG. So if you’re looking for a protein packed sweet treat, this is it. The taste isn’t exactly a Rice Krispie dupe though. For me, the taste is like the essence of a caramel frappe from Starbucks.

A little too sweet but recommended
My only issues is that it’s too sweet that’s all. I would recommend it.

Adult Rice Krispy Treats?
I always try to look for high protein snacks, and when I was doing research I came across these. I thought to myself, this is too good to be true. They can't actually taste good. Well, to my pleasant surprise, these taste fabulous. I will admit the marshmallow is not super sticky so the rice does crumble a bit when you're eating it. The initial flavor might surprise you a little bit because you're expecting this super sweet bite, but you get used to it after the second or third bite. I'm a fan.
