Unusual, but it works !
I purchased this to use with a Yaesu FT-818ND transceiver and, quite frankly, did not expect it to work at all, but it does and it works as it is designed to. No problems at all ! Would recommend !

When I receive the item, plugged in and ran some simple electrical tests. It worked just fine and had the added bonus of having 2 power outputs so that 2 radios or other pieces of equipment could be run simultaneously.

Really long power cord
When I'm running off cigarette lighter power, I'm usually in the driver's position, and the 5' long power cord is frankly too long. But when/if you find yourself standing outside the car and need a bit more freedom to move, it will come in handy.
