I REALLY LOVE this product,it is well made and performs its specified function,this really cuts down on the time it takes to prepare anything,you will not have to wipe down the sides of your bowl when using this blade.However, make sure you adjust your mixer to the perfect level so it wipes the bowl but does not hit the bowl (and therefore break or make noise).The flexible rubber edge on this beater serves perfectly to act as a spatula, so I don't have to manually do the scraping. It's hard to believe that just the slight increase in size and form could make such a difference, but it does! I would recommend buying it.

I love this new beater! I just baked a banana chocolate chunk cake during which I normally would have had to scrape down the sides of the bowl aa few times while adding ingredients and beating. Once did it....no scraping, no stopping. Since it's brand new I don't know how durable it is but will update as time goes by. I didn't put it in the dishwasher since it was so easy to clean by hand.

I’ve had this same one before and used it for years. Mine broke because I tried to mix something that was way to thick. But I ordered another one because it had lasted for years and I feel it was my fault it broke. It is plastic, but the low cost compared to others makes it worth it. I do love the rubber on the outside. Don’t have to constantly scrap the bowl. That’s the best feature. Very pleased.

Despite many negative reviews I purchased this for the wife and found this to be superior to Kitchenaid beater. It eliminates the need for using a spatula to scrape the bowl and stopping and starting the mixer. Should be part of original product. Holds up to constant dishwasher cleaning with no problems.

We use this twice weekly at least. The first one we bought lasted about three years before parts became brittle and thing started breaking. But, on a dollar for dollar basis, this is a wonderful tool and a very good seller.. No Kitchenaid stand mixer should be without it.

Just love it! Don't have to stop the mixer, to scrape sides (or get the spatula tangled in the beater, while its running!) This is 'great' & a 'very good' investment!!

i got this a year and a half ago and absolutely loved it, as it scrapes the side of the bowl and makes life so much easier. then it decided to break today :( i was making bread and the dough was still a little sticky, and i know i have used it with drier dough in the past. i am now comparing it with the kitchenaid attachments and it seems to be a plastic, as opposed to metal that the kitchenaid ones are made of. i will try to find one that will last as long as my machine.

Great beater,well made,it does help with less scrapping and the bowl doesn't require any scraping at all!
