My son has loved Thomas the Tank Engine (and Friends) since before he was speaking in sentences. He's now nearly ten and his love for Thomas grew into a love of all things TRAINS. So, when my husband and I told him he needed to retire his beloved-but-beaten-up Thomas lunch/snack bag for the coming school year, I was amused (but not surprised) that he went surfing on Amazon to find a replacement that was suitable to him. He came across this bag and declared it was THE ONE (and he said it looked like some other train he loves. Was it the Flying Scottsman?). I worried that, at $8.99, it may not look as great in person as he was anticipating--but he assured me he would be happy anyway. When it arrived, he and I were both thrilled. It does look great with the train image on one side and black everywhere else. It's not large by any means (though it can comfortably hold a sandwich or bento box, fruit, treat, and boxed drink), but it will be just fine for his school lunches or snacks (at his school, you need to have separate bags or boxes for snacks versus lunch).

My son loves this lunch bag and takes it to school everyday. One really weird thing is that the bag itself stunk really badly like chemicals when we got it. I had to wash it several times.

This product has a horrible rubber smell that won't go away, I will not pack food in it due to the smell. Very disappointed with it.
