KawecoAL SPORT Fountain Pen Silver Fine

There is a little pen and writing paper shop just off La Ramblas in Barcelona. Each time I visit the city I pop by and this is where is discovered the Kaweco Sport. It comes in a choice of colours, I went for the sun aluminium finish with the refillable insert (rather than cartridge).Quick summary:The pen comes in a nice little tin.It’s compact. If you like a well weighted pen in your hand, this will certainly feel a little strange. I’d say writing for any extended periods can become uncomfortableIt writes wonderfully, very smooth with even ink flow (I have an expensive brand of pen and the flow and feel when writing is terrible in comparison)Despite the size of the pump it writes for some time on a single fillThe finish and heft (albeit of a tiny pen) is wonderfulIt is aesthetically pleasingUltimately as small travel pens go I would highly recommend it. I wrote a diary whilst in Barcelona no problem and it was a pleasure to use.

A lovely little pen that is the perfect size when posted. the nib is not as smooth as some of my other pens but it is the perfect pen to always have in your pocket. The Aluminium scratches easily, but that just makes it look better.
