Omg. This is amazing and can save your life. My smartwatch kept going off saying my o2 was very low, I ignored it as online it said this aspect of the watch wasn’t particularly reliable. This kept happening, I record my sleep on a sleep app and my snores (all night) I’m gasping for breath. I’m not overweight, I don’t drink, I exercise daily and eat cleanly. I went to the dr, showed her my results and she literally laughed at me, dismissed me saying no, these are far too low and sent me on my way. I saw this device when I was looking for help with my night breathing. Bought it, wore it for the first time last night and the results were shocking. My oxygen levels go down to 55%, for 2 minutes they’re like this. This happens through the night as low from 96-55 and in between. This screenshot of the summary was sent to my Gp this morning.The device facts: The app is absolutely outstanding, something you’d expect from a machine of several hundred pounds. It’s detailed to the second which you can easily move through, I had my doubts it would stay on my finger but it did, it didn’t move once. The instructions are incredibly clear, detailed and not translated from another language, the diagrams are concise and easy to understand. I had set an alarm up to go off if my levels went to 92% but this was going off all the time, I easily touched the button, selected off and easy as that. I cannot recommend this more highly.

It does what it says very well, the device is easy to use and has an interesting display while working. The UI is intuitive to navigate which is a great job considering you do everything with a single button.The data is stored and then you can easily transfer to phone (in my case iPhone) - and then the reports it produces are very useful indeed.The only flaw I have with it is that, for me at least, I cannot get anywhere near a full nights recordings out of it due to it becoming misaligned or something - I do tend to be quite "mobile" while sleeping and presume that's the cause, it *ought* to be stable for most people, the extra band that you can use to secure it does certainly improve things.Regardless of the inability to record full night (which I believe is a "me" issue) - it's recorded enough to show there is indeed a problem, and explains it in the right way for professionals to be able to use. So - job done, and highly recommended.

Great little oximeter, actually stays on my finger throughout the night which i thought may be impossible as im a fidgeter and dont sleep very well. Heart rate and oxygen reading also match up with my smartwatch so i guess thats a good thing Easy to set up and no problems thus far! Also like that it downloads my readings on to an app which i can also save to my phone and make notes on making easier for me to show my dr and consultants. Came with batteries too!

When first using this oximeter, the accuracy of the blood oxygen is consistent for about 1 month; after this time, the readings are woefully inaccurate.Because of low readings, I purchased another oximeter for comparison: the Emay gave me a reading as low as 35% SpO2; the other oximeter gave me a 95% Spo2.It's about as much use as a chocolate pot.

A brilliant little device!I have been concerned about my SpO2 readings as I know they tend to be on the lower side and my Garmin watch was showing very erratic overnight readings. I was worried I had serious sleep apnoea and the impact on my testosterone levels; I am going for an appointment to investigate testosterone replacement therapy in a few weeks and this would be very relevant. I was thinking that I would need to be referred to the NHS 'sleep clinic' involving a referral, driving to and from a distant hospital to collect recording equipment, and then the months involved in waiting for appointments, follow up meetings etc.Good old ChatGPT recommended buying one of these and I have no regrets. You would think it would get in the way at night but it really doesn't. Yes, you're aware of it, but it's hardly a problem. A quick screenshot of the detailed report each morning and an upload to ChatGPT and I have a report on each night's sleep. This has all been reassuring and I am no longer concerned about sleep apnoea helping drive my nocturia problem and low testosterone.What a fantastic result!!The cost is VERY reasonable and I have paid for it several times over by avoiding all the faff, cost and time of a referral to the sleep clinic.A very definite thumbs up from me and a fully justified 5 stars.

I purchased this device just over a month ago & have been very happy with the product & the associated Emay App, which allows me to view & save my data. The finger strap is a must, to consistently keep the device in place overnight (it still can occasionally come off over a restless night).Additional useful information for anyone not familiar with an oximeter, with a recording facility, would be that in recording mode, it uses lots of battery energy & batteries will only last 2 nights. The device is not compatible with rechargeable batteries so factor in frequent battery purchases! ( Apparently one can contact Emay for a discount code to purchase batteries, presumably from Amazon but I haven't received a code yet, so cannot comment on whether this makes it cheaper than buying them locally). It is a small gadget & the writing on the mode selection screen is very small (reading glasses or magnifying glass required!).In summary, a good, budget friendly purchase ; it does the job & I am very satisfied with it!

The functionality for the price is excellent - as another reviewer pointed out, this appears to be the only oximeter that will track and record oxygen levels around this price - the others appear to be around three times the price or more. Very easy to set up and use too.The problem I am having is the discomfort it causes me. After and hour or two I feel like circulation is being impaired, I get a dull ache which increases, with an unpleasant feeling my finger is being squashed. The weight of the device doesn't help, though I expect it is unavoidable due to the hardwear inside. I find myself having to take it off and swap fungers, but right now using it is irinically causing me more sleep issues. I didn't have any trouble with NHS oximeter during my sleep study I should point out.Still, seems to be just me with this issue so maybe my fingers are too fat or something.

This is a quality product; it is well-made and its functionality is impressive. The Android app which you can install via the Play Store works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and has a well-designed, easy-to-use user interface. The device clamps on a finger like the ones nurses use in hospitals and clinics. It samples SpO2 (blood oxygen level) and pulse rate each second and can store these measurements overnight while you sleep. I simply left the device on my index finger overnight in bed. A roll of black bandage is supplied but I ended up taking it off as the device stayed on my finger all night without it. The red LED light that shines through the finger did not trouble me as it is not bright, and the display itself turns off after 90 seconds anyway. The end knuckle of my index finger was a little sore the next morning where the device had been clamped on my finger, but nothing serious.Although the device has data storage capability, it can be used as a normal pulse oximeter for spot checks as well. To look at it has the appearance of a standard pulse oximeter, albeit the quality of manufacture and materials is noticeably better than a cheap standard pulse oximeter I already have.The device uses two AAA batteries. Four batteries are supplied in the box, as well as a lanyard, a little storage bag for the device, and a user manual. The user manual explains well how to use the device, and there is an e-mail address to contact the manufacturer if you have any questions or problems. I e-mailed the manufacturer with a query and they replied quickly and were helpful.The user manual estimates that a pair of AAA batteries should last for at least three 8-hour measurement periods.It is possible to view, save and e-mail a detailed PDF report showing statistics and graphs of the blood oxygen levels and pulse rates over the measurement period you have had the device on a finger. The report is impressive and looks very professional, and I would not have a problem showing it to a doctor. In my case I was worried that my blood oxygen level was dropping too low while I slept, but the report put my mind to rest. It is also possible to save or share a CSV (comma-separated values) file which you can import into a spreadsheet if you want to examine or analyse the data yourself.The only things that I found that could be improved are: a) sometimes deleting the data stored on the device took a few attempts; b) the user manuals that can be viewed in the app could do with being zoom-able, as the text displayed on a smartphone is tiny (a printed user manual is supplied as well in any case); c) I could not find a way of deleting a user. I do not consider these significant problems, though.Overall I am very impressed with this device.

I recently started using oxygen therapy while sleeping due to my saturation levels dropping dangerously low as indicated by two sleep studies. However, once I started oxygen, I had no way of knowing if oxygen levels were improving without another sleep study. So after reviewing numerous sleep oxygen monitors, I purchased the EMAY Sleep Oxygen Monitor due to its built-in recording capability and price, although there were less and more expensive monitors. After receiving it, it was easy to set up the monitor, download the app and then download the results from the monitor. The results showed my saturation levels during sleep were within normal limits, which was very reassuring to me. The app made it easy to read the results and with the ability to save, print and share the results with my doctor, makes this monitor an important tool in my oxygen therapy. I compared the instant oxygen saturation readings from this monitor with my other finger oxygen monitor that doesn’t have the recording capability and the saturation reading was identical, so I have confidence in its accuracy. Highly recommended.

Works really well, with the little strap it stays in my finger all night.The PDF report from the app had good summary including the SpO2 graph and pulseData can be exported with a second granularity as CSV and spo2 files for thos who wants to analyze the raw data.It will store the data in the sensor so no need to keep it synced with th phone, that is done in the morning when you wake up.

The function and the app where fantastic. I was impressed by the quality and accuracy of the reporting. It looks like a fully professional sleep analysis. My respiratory doctor was very impressed by the report and it got me out of having to do a hospital sleep study every year.Amazing buy!

I've used the EMAY 80 twice now, and am very pleased with it's functionality as a recording oximeter. First, the unit itself records O2 consistently through the night, so I think the data generated is valid. It is slightly uncomfortable when worn all night, but quite tolerable, as you will probably be using it only infrequently. It also comes with a band that wraps around the finger to prevent the oximeter from falling off your finger, and it accomplishes that task. The most important aspect however is the recording an reporting of the data, and it does this extremely well, especially at this price point. Though it doesn't completely replicate a clinical sleep study for apnea, it comes close enough that you may be able to avoid having to spend a night in the sleep lab. It is quite easy to download the data from the device to the EMAY app on your phone via bluetooth. The app converts the data to a useful chart which provides the important ODI or Oxygen Saturation Index which can be used to define the category of your apnea, and tells you if you need to take measures to decrease your obstruction, or to seek medical attention for a further treatment. In addition, you can also download the raw data from the EMAY app to your computer. Then, you can analyze the data with the OSCAR app which is open source, and can store your data for comparison over time. Anyway, I highly recommend the EMAY 80. It's worth every penny of it's price and then some!
