Nova NV-500B Professional Portable Diamond Microdermabrasion Peel Facial Skin Care Machine Kit

I have been wanting a mircodermabrasion machine for a long time. I decided to buy this one as a birthday present for myself. I did research on different machines and models, looked at countless YouTube videos on different brands. I read the reviews of different machines on Amazon and EBay. Even though this seller did not have a review on this particular product, I decided on this one because of the Nova brand, extended warranty and the summer special of free shipping. How could I beat that, even though it costed a little more than a few other sellers.This is not a Nova brand machine, this is a generic version of a mircodermabrasion machine. I am very upset that this seller advertised this product as a Nova NV-500B Professional Diamond Mircodermabrasion machine and sent me a generic version of this product. It doesn't even say who it's manufactured by. I contacted the seller by email and inquired about the machine that was sent to me. I asked for documentation of the manufacturer of this mircodermabrasion machine, since on the site it stated Nova NV-500B and Nova is not located anywhere on the machine. They replied promptly the next day and stated the machine was made in China. I sent a second email asking if they even sell the Nova brand machine. They stated they only sell "Their machine" and they were sorry for the inconvenience. I know there are a lot of sellers advertising this type of machine (microderm)some with brand names and some that just state professional mircodermabrasion machine. If I didn't care which brand I was purchasing I would have chosen a cheaper option or another seller. What they have done is called bait and switch. That's like me puchasing Sony and then they send me a Emerson or a brand I never heard of. This is a waste of my time and money. When I first received the box I was so excited I wanted to see how it worked. The machine arrived in a big brown box, I thought it would have a Nova brand box inside the first box, no. When I took the machine out of the foam it was packed in I noticed the labels were coming off. The front label where the Nova (brand) should have been, just said "Diamond Mircodermabrasion". The label where the manufacturer's information should have appeared, was stuck to the packing but didn't state where or who the machine is made by. I thought maybe the original labels were still in the packing, no luck.This is what was included in the box: The microdermabrasion machine, instructions, plastic holding tray, wands, diamond tip heads, filters, bands, and fuses. This machine is heavy and it looked sturdy but as far as quality I don't know. It was advertised on Amazon as a Nova NV-500B Professional Portable Diamond Mircodermabrasion Machine (I cut down the title listed). I can't say much about this machine, it's NOT the machine advertised on the site. I really couldn't tell you about the intensity or vacuum suction because when I finally got it assembled I just ran it across my hand. The intensity meter didn't move that much. I couldn't tell you what level of intensity it was on. It doesn't show numbers for intensity, you just turn the dial left or right. The instructions, filters, black bands and fuses came in a plastic bag. The instructions that came with this product were horrible. They were not clear how to assemble or use the product. It looked like someone Made Up instructions on how to use this machine and included some really bad diagrams. They were not professional or original looking in content. The diamond tips and wands came in a small separate box (included in big brown box). The box did tell you which tip to use on what part of the body. I looked at the quality of the diamond tips and one head was missing part of the diamond tip coating. The metal plating was peeling off of two other diamond tips. The bag also contained small number of filters and that pretty much it as far as what was sent and condition.I do know I will be returning this product. The seller stated I would receive a full refund. When this issue is resolved I will post the outcome.

I feel bad for not writing a review as I see someone purchased from the same people,and had the same experience as I. They described their product with accessories which did not come with the said machine also it was not a NOVA brand as said in description. All it said was 500 B on label ,on machine ( a generic brand) . I also emailed company and expressed my dissapointment, they did not try to rectify the situation,just had to send it back, an inconvience to say the least. I thought Amazon would have not permitted them to sell this machine after all of the hassle I had to endure with this company. I am sorry for your inconvience as well as mine.
