Best trowel on the market
Been a bricklayer for over 30 years I've never reviewed any tool but this trowel is the best trowel I've ever used.

Pricey but an alright trowel once broke in.
Was looking for a new bricklaying trowel and picked this instead of the usual names. (Marshall town, Spear and Jackson)I haven't looked into the manufacturing etc so don't quote me if I'm wrong but, this looks hand made. The weld looks a bit rough between handle and blade and slightly off. Whether its to accommodate a right-hander or what, I don't know. After using it for a while, I find in comfy to use and don't have that usual ache from a day slinging muck. (Although, I'm not laying much these days so not on a line all day, every day)Only down side is the steel, keep it clean as it will rust, especially if you go on holiday and have a damp toolbox, although it will polish up nicely. Also, I have the habit of using the handle to tap bricks and the hard amber coloured plastic does seem a bit suspect to chipping. You can get a rubber bumper for the handle, which seems like an additional cost on an already expensive trowel.Still, the usual thing for trades, by some quality and it'll last if you look after it.

Good trowel
Got this for blocklaying, footings cos my regular Marshall Town has worn down a bit too much. Basically wanted a bigger trowel! Though id still use the Marshall for running brickwork in.Like all trowels on first use feels wrong! But i like the handle and after a couple of days of use it got comfortable.Minus side is the thinness of the steel and the flex. Not good for chopping bricks but then this is my blockwork trowel.Nice trowel and will wear in nice but no better than a Marshall town.Good delivery too, before arrival date stipulated.

Good trowel
Lovely blade but a strange angle to the handle, takes a bit of getting used too.

Best trowel there is
This trowel was a replacement for the one I ordered 4 (maybe 5) years ago. The old (smaller) was used daily before there was a crack in the handle. I’m a journeyman Mason and use my trowel daily. I’m also not gentle with them. The original has stood the test of time and I expect the new one will as well. When I can I’m hoping to repair the original and keep using it. Great quality.

They sold my info to email spammers
The trowel is great. The only problem is they sold my info to spammers. Imagine that, right?

For $70 gotta say I'm pretty disappointed.
The media could not be loaded. Bought this trowel to replace a 13 in Rose that I've had and loved for years. Wanted a smaller trowel because I'm getting a little older and my wrists aren't loving the bigger trowel anymore.Got this new Rose today and right out if the package I noticed the handle is crooked. Upon further inspection I found grinder marks in the handle, clearly whoever welded this tool was not a welder, so they had to clean up their shoddy workmanship with a grinder, and got into the handle on both sides, doing so. Turn it over and find more signs that the person who made this tool wasn't a welder at all. Big chunk of metal missing on the bottom as well. Rose used to be the top of the line for masonry tools, so I didn't mind paying the premium price but this, honestly, has me feeling like I've been swindled!
