A great, smooth, Livescribe re-fill that does not clog or stop wiriing after three lines, or every three written lines!
I use a Livescribe pen typically six hours a week (or more) to capture my College Chemistry lectures (as a professor). These refills work flawlessly, in that they do not plug up on the Livescribe paper, write smoothly, and seem to last longer then the ones from Livescribe. The fit in my Pulse is perfect, or at least identical to the manufacturer's, and I have recommended them to colleagues, specifically, as the clogging issue was intolerable with the Livescribe refills. (I specifically recommended them in a training/demonstration presentation to colleagues.) Since I have found these, I have not ordered any Livescribe refills, and I do not intend to. I have ordered them six times (at least) over the last two years, and have never been disappointed with the shipping, the supplier, or quality. I have never had any "rattling" issues, and they seem to seat better in my pen then the "real McCoy". But, then again, I am a bit heavy handed, and I also use the earbud microphone to capture lectures as well as student interactions during lectures. The pen has absolutely no issues capturing the ink, as I have had never seen an issue. The price is comparable to the ones from Livescribe, but not having to pause during a lecture, pull out the refill, scratch it on scratch paper, and re-seat it in the pen and re-start the lecture, is invaluable.

Excellent product, Great service and Best price.
Refills are smooth writing and work great with my pen. Price is much better than the original Livescribe refills and better ink flow.I had the opportunity to contact the Generic Refills company and received excellent customer service. I will continue to purchase my refills and some other products from this company.

Does not actually fit in Livescribe Echo Pen
Ordered because they're supposed to fit in Livescribe Echo pen, but when I finally needed them, they're far too large for the pen.

Generic better than brand name
These are far better than the refills LiveScribe puts out.You don't have to deal with the oddball red one. Given that color does not come through in the digital notes, I can see no point in that.It has a better ink flow and is more comfortable to write with. The ink lasts longer. That is to say, you can cover more pages on a single refill.I use mine in the Sky pen and could not be happier.

Ink is great; unit is loose in the Livescribe pen
I like the ink really well. It is smooth and roll son without any globs. However, the refill unit itself sometimes slips out of the pen even though I push it in as snugly as I can. Is there a way to fix this?

Smooth and dependable!
I have the Echo Pro edition. I ordered these refills because I could not find blue ones from Livescribe, and I already have black. Both of my professors this semester post the lecture notes or PowerPoints before class. So what I have been doing is copying them by hand into the Livescribe notebooks in black with the pen on (but not recording audio). This captures just the ink strokes as long as the pen is turned ON. Then during lecture, I can underline things the professor emphasized in a different color and add extra notes where appropriate, or even just a little asterisk or star if I want to come back to that point later, especially if they say, "Know xyz for the exam!" When you download it, no matter what color you actually wrote with, the parts written before the lecture with no sound will appear on your computer screen in black, and anything synced with audio (and therefore "clickable" on screen) will appear green. I share this because A) It's handy to prewrite your notes and just annotate them in class instead of trying to write as much as possible and then going back to fill them in (happy accident I discovered on my own that would have been helpful to know from the beginning) and B) which is why someone would need a second ink color. As for the ink refill itself: It writes VERY smooth, probably smoother than the Livescribe refills. I prefer gel pens or pretty much anything other than ballpoints, but I must say these refills are almost as smooth as a gel pen! It's like a gel pen and ballpoint had a cute little baby that is the best of both! BUT (and this is why I gave it 4 stars) they are slightly slimmer than the Livescribe refills. So they make more noise scratching on the paper unless you plug in the headphones and have the mics on the earbuds either around your neck or on the desk at least a foot away from the paper. Easy to do at a lab table, not so much in a lecture hall or classroom with small desktops. But as far as the writing itself goes, it is smooth and flawless. The few people complaining about skipping and fading out after just a few lines of writing most likely received a batch with air bubbles, which can happen with any inkpen refill. If that happens, a calm, polite call to customer service would probably solve the problem. =)

Incredible product, fits a definite need
For any of you that use Livescribe pens, you know the refills really bite. How good is a pen if it can't write??Enter the generic refills. These are high quality refills that smoothly draw ink across all the text, no more drop outs or stray marks. Who knew that something so simple could make my Livescribe feel new again!I recommend you start using these right away! Can't wait for them to get in black ink!

Better than original Livescribe refills
So far, I have only used it a little bit, but after using Livescribe original refills for such a long time, I can say that these refills are far superior in terms of ink quality and how smooth the writing is. I will update if I encounter any problems or have any issues, but so far, I like these better than the ones that Livescribe sell.
