Useful as a statute or conversation piece as well.
Previous Ads state it will not fit 2 5/16" inch balls. I did not use it for that. I used it exclusively for a two inch ball. It is still just as shiny as new.However I purchased a different ball cover because this one, well, it's just so aesthetically pleasing. I live in Northern Wisconsin and we rarely see moose up here. But I personally love moose. So instead of it being a ball cover it became the ornament on the top of my computer screen.I dabbled with the idea of making it my hood ornament on my honda accord. But I figured some hater would steal it. I work at a high school and cars get vandalized. But The main point I am making is that this moose head is so aesthetically pleasing I couldn't just let it sit on a trailer ball forever. So it now looks at me from the top of my desktop computer screen.

Awesome Fish Hitch Cover
This is one of the coolest little trinkets ever! I bought this for my husband as a stocking stuffer, and he and I both absolutely love it! It's extremely colorful, well-made, and seems very durable so far, as it has been living on my husband's trailer hitch non-stop since Christmas. Easy to get on and doesn't seem to show any risk of falling off during interstate driving. We get comments from friends and family at how funny/cute it is. And obviously, it's functional for protection of the hitch/ball.

Looks great
Its really hard to put on. The tag says if you can't get it to go on to use soap and water so I did that and it still took me 10 minutes to get it on. I've had it on my truck for over six months now and it has very little wear or discoloring on it and still looks great so I'm overall happy with it.

Looks cool and was a great gift
Unfortunately I don't know a lot about hitch sizes, so mine did not fall into "Securely fits just about any hitch ball", but after a few slits cut into the bottom it fits now! Looks awesome and is pretty durable!
