Lumberjack Tools1-1/2" Pro Log Tenon Cutter, Premium Tenon Cutter (TTR1500)

In theory, this tenon cutter was fantastic! In practice, however, I could not even install the blades as delivered. It came with screws that were too small for the corresponding holes in the body. When I tried to switch them for the proper screws, I found out that the holes in the blades were too small for the new screws. I was stuck!I contacted customer service, and they sent me new blades, and they fit! I guess it was just a minor mix-up. They solved the problem and I am happy as can be! It worked perfectly for my Maloof Rocker!

I finally started replacing my tenon cutters with the lumberjack pro. What a huge difference in quality compared to the competition. If you're on the fence about upgrading like I was ......trust me they're worth every penny. I'll slowly replace all of my tenon cutters with these.

I make canes from Jacaranda branches. This tool makes it easy and quick to cut the 3/4” tenon on the end. A little light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper avoila, it’s done and perfect for 3/4” rubber tips.

Had a blast using this - it does what it is designed to do. It is SHARP and it is AGGRESSIVE with a good drill driving it. Adjusting the blades is pretty "coarse" but once you get it dialed in it works great. You do have to do some "pre-shaping" of the end of the stock you are working for it to work well on the larger side of the diameter range.

I usually buy stuff like this from lee valley. i tried it cause it has two cutters and lee valley was out of stock. Also, it was about the same price. After sharpening each cutter, it cut like paper. great stuff.

Tool is very well made and works for its purpose. It may need some practice and adjustments to make a clean and straight tennon. Works really well if you have a supply of good wood.

This cutter is poorly made oh sure it’s a solid block of aluminum and strong but the designers forgot the most important thing on a two cutter dowel cutter both of the cutters have to be exactly in line with each other or only one cutter will touch the material. There are no markings on this cutter so how are you going to figure out where the cutters belong. It would be better to only have one cutter to do the job and more accurate at that.

Bought for a few cuts for oak spindles only. Did the job ok considering the more than reasonable price compared to the competition. Made for size cut, but by varying the position of the blade, you can make cuts slightly larger or smaller. Made several cuts to get what I wanted then made the parts. did what I needed at a very reasonable price. Well made and packaged in the USA!!

Klingen lassen sind leicht zusammenbauen, durch Verschieben diese, lässt sich der Durchmesser der Zapfen variieren.Ein präzises Einstellen ist dadurch möglich.Bei einem Ast mit 55 mm Durchmesser ist die Grenze(beim1 Zoll) zum sauberen Bearbeiten erreicht, nach unten ist 30 mm noch akzeptabel, dazwischen macht das Teil traumhaft schöne Späne, je nach Holzart.Die Qualität, insgesamt, entspricht einem hochwertigen CNC-Teil.

The product is well made but it took longer then expected to arrive and the two blades were very blunt. This was probably because the blades were rattling around loose with the screws. I know Lumberjack produce a sharpening attachment but this is another £40 and would probably take a long time to arrive.

Extremely good quality. Make a tenon in very short order. Pricey but worth it if you are cutting a lot of tenons.

Well designed, easy to setup and use. Built very strong.Best if branch is secured well when using this tool.Lumberjack have a branch clamping tool also, I might have to get one of these.
