Vinilo siding Clips

These clips were exactly what I had wanted. I had bought some but couldn't remember where I had gotten them years ago when we first had our house sided. I couldn't find them anywhere in the Keene, NH area, so I figured that I could find them on Amazon and I wasn't disappointed. They are great and there is no need to drill holes in the siding in order to use these hooks. It was also nice that these came in a multipak, so I have a few more left in case I need them in the future. Great product and great service as always. Thank you.

I could not tell by photos how strong these would be, but these have really impressed me. I have used a couple to hold a sign that is reletively heavy and also in a windy part of the house and they just work. Ultimatly I think the siding on the house would fail before the clip does, as in the siding lip these clip onto would flex and bend downward allowing the clip to slip. I don't know how much weight that would be, but most likely way more than what these were intended for.

Once installed, these clips work well. Installing them is another story. It depends how tight your vinyl was pulled during it's installation. If it's tight like mine is, it's not easy. If yours was installed looser, it should pop in easily. Mine was installed pretty tightly. I ended up sliding a 3" paint scraper into the area I wanted it. I pushed it upward while I hooked the clip in place. Once in, I was able to get the final positioning, right to left by tapping it with a hammer. I also needed these to match some items we're using them these by painting them. They have a highly polished chrome finish so I had to sand, prime and paint them to match. Overall I'm happy with these

These clips are terrible. I had bought the low-profile ones from another vendor to hang other things and those work great. Then wanted to switch it up and buy these, but they are useless. The clips isn’t made large enough to get under the siding. Will be returning

Bought these to hang up a 14" clock on the outside wall of the house next to the pool. It worked out perfectly because the clock that I bought had a hole and the clip was the perfect width. I was a little worried about the weight limit on the hooks. The clock I bought has a ceramic frame and a glass front so it's pretty heavy. I'm confident that it will not fall even in rain or wind storms. We've had some rain storms with a little wind and so far so good. The installation is not that hard. It takes a little force to get the hooks under the siding up there but once you do it's solid. Pretty neat and easy way to hang stuff up on your vinyl siding without drilling holes or glue or some sort of adhesive. Also the hooks are pretty long. The hole for the clock is down low enough to were you can't see the hook but some applications you might be showing the clip. Overall, looks good very functional.

I just love these hangers. I always wanted to hang signs and decorations on my house, but I didn't want to put holes in the siding. These hangers are great! You can see in the photo a little mail holder hanging on the siding. I have to say though I had to use a flat-head screwdriver to lift the siding to insert the hanger. The instructions says to wiggle it back and forth, but it didn't work for me. The screwdriver lifted the siding enough to get the hanger started under it and then I was able to wiggle it in place. I did not damage the siding using the screwdriver. Just be very careful and you only need to get it started under it and then you can wiggle the rest in place. There are other types of hangers and I may be ordering those at some point.

Have not used the hooks yet but they seem to be of a better quality and much sturdier than the hooks that I have previously used. I'll try to remember to update my review once I've installed them.
