This is a solid and versatile general purpose flashlight. I bought the Yellow model which makes it easier to find in low light. I am using this light with 18650 batteries for both the performance (runtime) and the cost effectiveness. I like the plastic body for both cold and hot environments as it is easier on the skin.I use the TEN-Tap programming to easily switch back and forth between High only and the Low/Medium/High function. Most of the time I leave it in High only. It only takes a few seconds to change it over to low/med/high if I am going want a lower output and longer runtime.I have included a photo taken from Streamlight's website with the runtime graph of the light. It is important to realize that on High setting you only get 600 lumens for just a few minutes before it drops down to about 325 Lumens (my estimate) and holds about that output for just over 3 hours with the included 2600 mAH battery. I get a longer runtime with my 3500 mAH 18650 batteries. The approximate 325 lumen output is a very useful amount of light for a general purpose light. My button top 18650 batteries work just fine in this light.The beam pattern is very practical and useful for a general purpose light. It has both good throw and spill.The tail mounted button is stiff but usable for our healthy hands. If someone has arthritis in their hands it may present a challenge.This is a very good light for the price.

Great flashlight not heavy. Versatile for EDC

Second one I’ve bought and other one still works been everyday carry for 3 years

I have owned Streamlights for 40 years. This light is a great light, especially for the money. Bright white light and easy to use. Would have loved this light for duty use back in the day. USB battery charging is easy but not as handy as a dedicated charging mount but for around the house use no problem. Also have the ability to use CR batteries, so would be great for hiking or vehicle where you could stash a few batteries just in case. If I was carrying these on-duty again, I would have one set for high intensity only, and another for low, med, high as I do for around the house use.

I’m sad this wasn’t a good fit for me. I guess I just assumed the PolyTac would feel more substantial than it does. Maybe it’s just the yellow, but I thought it would be better looking in terms of obvious quality when looking at in person, but sadly this is not the case. I like the throw of the light, but I am not a fan of the flood so much. I also don’t like how the light is framed when I’m using it at night, it’s an off putting distraction that fails to provide a clean view of the areas where I’m shining the light —so it also means the view in the dark is very narrow.I justified this purchase as necessary to look out for coyote eyes when I’ve got my pooch outside, which it seems like it can still do, just as long as they’re not lurking near the periphery of where I’m pointing this flashlight —since I’d never spot it in the dark band that surrounds the bright middle light —or in his “frame” just outlines the thick dark ring separating it’s outer thin ring from the bright inner light if that makes any sense. If it doesn’t now, it will when your light arrives if you got the same model as me.I absolutely hate the gummy button as it makes it hard to hurry up and snap the light on —or to turn on the light with one hand. Not a total deal breaker, but added to my issues with the edge circles it is reason enough for me to stay on my continued search for a solid edc I can count on in any situation —instead of just scenarios where I will only need a partial view of what’s going on, as well as more time to fiddle with a power button, while I also have zero free hands.

This is a great light! Very bright, good battery life, well made. I have about a half dozen Streamlight flashlights and they've all been outstanding.

I just received this light and so far I am happy. I am normally a surefire guy but for the output and the price, buying this one was a no brainer.The ten tap feature is great. I don’t need a strobe on my flashlight so it’s nice that it can be turned off. I also like that I can turn of the low beam setting and just have the full power beam if I want.As fat as output goes, it’s bright enough for my needs. The clip is a pain and is in the way. Fortunately it is easily removed which I did right away on mine,It’s just a hair longer that Surefire lights and others so it fits in all the same holsters which is a plus.All in all it’s a good buy.

Got it cause i work on a farm and to keep on bedside table in case i need a light quickly. It’s been great so far. Really tough, light and small enough that you barely notice it in your jacket pocket. The clip works really well at keeping it secure either inside or outside of your pants pocket. The three different brightness mode is amazing when you’re trying to see what’s going on out in the field and really need to light up a whole area. For 600 lumens, it’s VERY bright. Would totally buy again.

Pour le prix que j’ai eu (60$ CAD + tx) c’est 5 étoiles. À 80$, comme elles sont souvent affichées, je donnerais 4 étoiles. La lampe de poche éclaire beaucoup. Pour la durabilité, ça reste à voir.
