Hi Susan, apologies for not replying sooner. The Rockler Guide Bushing Router Plate will not fit the B&D 7616. The holes on the B&D do not align with any of the hole patterns on the plate. Regards

does the brass bushing remove?

Yes. The bushing has a threaded, knurled locking collar to hold it in place.

will this fit a Milwaukee router without drilling new holes?

I not 100% sure of the fit to your milwaukee router but, i would say "no" as to the fit - my router is a 1617evspk Bosch my unit works perfect- which is the "router templet group 1
