Rasta Imposta Nice Bass Trophy Costume

I liked the price of this costume and also the theme. I live in an area where lots of people fish so I thought that people would get a kick out of this. It is well made and even fit over my big head. However, it did require some work in order to look like it should.I bought a foam board and cut it to support the "wooden" frame. I cut a hole in the back of it for my head to stick through, I used double stick tape in order to adhere it to the costume. I used some pillow-fill to stuff the tail of the fish so that it would look a little more 3 dimensional.So far it has gone over very well. I attended a pre-Halloween party recently and everyone seemed to like it. I will be attending a charity event on October 31 and will be using the costume again. It is easy to wear and gets a lot of compliments. I just wish that it came already prepared and didn't require another $15 and almost two hours to make it look like it should.

Read other customers comments and added cardboard to the outside "frame" for support. The fabric was comfortable for my husband and he received many compliments. He has a large skull and the piece fit well so I was pleased. The vendor's image indicates how you need to hold your head (bowed) but it was cute for photos.

It’s funny, but kind of awkward because the “wood” is made from fabric, so the entire hat flops around. Got this for a friend, and he had to stuff the corners with paper to make it stand up. We got a laugh out of it so I think it was worth it, but this is probably more of a gag gift than an actual costume.

I have what I'd consider an average sized head and it just did fit in the head space of the fish. When I went to take it off after putting it on a seam popped, to give you an idea of the snugness: it ain't coming off walking around the neighborhood with your kids. However the top is very flimsy and in no way stands up as the picture illustrates, so I'm going to try to insert wood rods to somehow make it more upright because it just droops right over. Other than that it's pretty funny looking and for the price I'm happy with it.

Was a hit at the Halloween party. It is a tight squeeze to get it on but after that, it’s comfortable!

The product arrived almost as expected. I did not see anything in the product description that would indicate that these Rasta Imposta Trohpy Heads require stuffing. Well, they do!...unless you want it to flop lifelessly off your head. All in all, this was a great costume and a huge hit at the office. Just remember to buy stuffing, too.

This makes for one easy and amusing Halloween costume! It was a hit. I got more laughs and comments than the people who clearly spent a lot more money/effort on their costume and makeup. Felt kind of bad about that one, lol.

My husband used this for Halloween b/c our 1 and a half old was a fisherman....wouldnt it make more sense to have the back of it stiff? We had to add a piece of cardboard as the entire thing is soft and not firm as pictured...Poor representation in picture--not true
