SMITHTempo Max Sunglasses

Really enjoyed these glasses for the two years I wore them for riding, driving, fishing, everything. Comfortable and lenses had great ColourPop as advertised. Two years in however the rubber in the nose pieces started to fall apart. I was initially pretty upset since these aren't cheap sunglasses, but Smith Warranty came through once I sent them photos and they replaced for free so customer = happy.

Bought these to replace older Ray-Bans. Perfect for in the water fishing.

Like the glasses but wish they were wider,I'm 208 lbs and these are a little narrow,I would exchange for a large size but smith seems to cater more for medium faces.Great case I must say,glasses fit into foam and keeps them from moving and also the lenses.Large case go figure lol

I have two pairs of Smith Approach Max glasses which I use for road and mountain biking. They are great. I bought a pair of the Tempo Max glasses because I wanted a new pair. The frame and lens quality are what you would expect from Smith Optics.However, I find that these glasses move around on my face when I am riding, and because the nose pieces are not adjustable like on the old Approach frame, I can't adjust the glasses fit. I will have to find another model of glasses for cycling which stay put when riding.

The rose tinted lens these glasses come with are great for mountain biking. I have a similar lens on my squad xl goggles. They make divits and ruts in the ground much easier to see. The only time i take them off is when I'm sweating so bad it keeps dripping onto the glasses. Which would make any glasses that i know of very hard to use and see out of. I can't recommend the smith rose lens enough.

These glasses fit my face well with good coverage. I'm using them for a variety of outdoor activities, Nordic skiing and far biking in addition to being my driving glasses. As near as I can tell from the Smith website, all the ChromaPop lenses are photochromic...I guess I'm less convinced of that as I don't notice much of a photochromic reaction to changing light conditions.

Bought these in hopes that they wouldn't fog up too easy during heavy exertion, and they're been great. Work fantastic for mountain biking and other high output sports. Also transition pretty quickly as well, which is great.

I like these and have had several rounds of Smith glasses. Unfortunately, the interior surface of the lens developed bubbles on it. Returning for warranty service (will updated when complete).Otherwise, I really like these. They just need to figure out their manufacturing issues.Update: Got replacement lenses from Smith, they looked great, but were slightly smaller, so they rattled a bit in the frame and come out easily (sometimes unintentionally). After 5 months, one of the replacement lenses has now developed similar bubbles. After three or four generations of Smith sunglasses, I think I"m done. Quality just isn't the same, so the lower cost is now just low value.

Been using the sunglasses with the contrast rose lense for mountain biking. Lense Clarity quality is good and let me see the trail details clearly. Occasional fogging occurs when I stop but ok after I cycle again. Fit and Coverage is good. Would prefer if the nose bridge could be adjustable.
