I love them - and would give them 5 stars except the thread does come out of the needle when sewing. Not really a problem since it is really easy to retread the needle, but still . . .it can be annoying. Much better alternative than trying to thread a needle with a tiny hole - especially for these old eyes! So, yes, these are worth it and I recommend them. They come in various sizes, so I have the very small needle as well as a thicker one. Great idea! I was so excited when these finally arrived. I threaded a needle and started to sew. Immediately I discovered two problems that make the needles worthless to me. First, the little hook that's supposed to hold the thread kept snagging on the material. I couldn't back the needle out or pull it through. After about the third time I was saying potty words. Second, they don't stay threaded if there's any slack whatsoever in the thread. I finally gave up, found one of those little wire threaders, and finished the job with a regular needle.
