The quality is good for such a lot price. Using a 59 tooth mechanic for the moon phase indicator, it is also accurate for a long enough time for the price range.My only complaint is something I didn't notice until wearing it for a week. The Roman numerals 4 is mislabeled IIII, when it should be IV. They also decided to include a day off the week indicator over a month indicator, which I think is more important.

I've been looking for a real moon phase, not that "sun & moon" nonsense. The cheapest I saw was $250. Then I stumbled across this for $54. It came on time and looks great. The only quibbles are the date dial is too small to read and the name is not very well known. Anybody know how to pronounce it?

I bought this watch for my girlfriend. The package comes with an instruction manual that helps adjust the time, date, and moon phase. The moon phase does work, though you have to look online for the current moon phase and adjust the watch accordingly. The watch hands are luminous. I think the biggest detractor is the fact that the roman numeral for 4 is labeled incorrectly; this is a minor critique.

This is my first watch so I don't know much, but I think its a good balance between subtle and flashy. Everything on it looks great, I'm reserving 5 stars because I'm a watch newbie.

What good is a watch that works for only 6 weeks and then has to be tossed? Yes, the watched kept very good time. But when the battery died, there was no way to get the back of the watch back on. There were no instructions about it in the instruction book, not even about the size battery to buy. I was right in buying the 377 but the watch back simply would not go back on. We were once given a tip to freeze the back first, but even that didn't work. So now the watch is useless. I recommend buying a good watch at a jewelers in the future so they'll help with battery installation - or buying an EcoDrive or Seiko solar, the other watch I bought here at Amazon. Sadly, they don't offer moon watches, except that very huge Citizen Mickey Mouse style.

This was a well made nice watch but too big for my small wrist.

The watch is much better than I expected especially at this price. The moon phase design is beautiful and the leather strap is of good quality too. It should be able to last for quite some years. Like this watch very much!
