Neither I nor a local non-Lorus jeweller were able to remove any links, - it had to be done by a Lorus retailer with the specialist equipment required. This cost me an extra £7.50, taking the cost of the item as purchased to £51.44; the local retailer had it on sale at £49.99, and would have removed any links within that price.Adjusting the day and date to avoid it changing at midday rather than midnight is awkward.

I have had one of these watches before and the only time I had to alter it was a when the clocks went forward or back it kept perfect time

I bought this to replace one of the exact model that I accidently damaged . I got what I paid for.
