I tested the product and it was unbelievably perfect. It tastes wonderful and I can tell based ...
I used this yeast for a totally different kind of fermentation. In my country you can only buy nonalcoholic beer which I bought 25 liters and poured it into a more or less airtight and sanitized container.I added 75 grams of white sugar for every liter of the beer and finally I sprinkled one pack of Safale S04 yeast over the surface. Then I closed the container and tried to make it airtight with the use of usual tapes then I attached the airlock.I kept the container for 8 days in room temprature(20 to 25 degrees celsius according to instructions on yeast package). The fermentation could be observed from the mid second day as the bubbles were blowing slowly out and it stopped on beginning of sixth day. Then I started to fill the original bottles(one liter each) by siphoning and added 5 grams of white sugar to each bottle and closed them very tightly.I kept them for two weeks.I tested the product and it was unbelievably perfect. It tastes wonderful and I can tell based on experience that the alcohol content is about six percent. This yeast is possibly the best you can find for beer making in home.

Item never received
Since I don't have my yeast or my $6, at the very least, I can make sure Home Brew Ohio received my $6 to get a negative review.I just wanted yeast mailed to me. That failed to happen.Wrote to the company to state that I had never received the item although it was marked as delivered. I was advised to check with the post office as they would know where exactly it was delivered and was described what the envelope may look like. No offers to send a replacement or refund.I'm currently in quarantine. Don't know where the post office would rank locating a small envelope that contains yeast in order of priority at this time.I'm not running a scam in collecting packets of yeast, reporting them missing in hopes of getting free yeast. You know - luxurious yeast. However, I was pretty desperate to get my hands on some yeast so I can make bread from my home instead of paying for Dave's Killer Bread that seems to be the only bread available on Instacart. You know - the bread with the guy who looks like Sean Connery from Zardoz with a guitar on the packaging. However, I will say after finally trying it, it's actually very good and I look forward to a turkey sandwich on it tomorrow. Because I did not receive the yeast I had bought from this company.Shoot, I wasn't even sure if this was yeast you can make bread out of - maybe it's strictly brewery yeast! I did not do well at home economics. NOT. WELL. But! I was prepared to receive this yeast and realize my mistake and say, "You live, you learn." But that was only in the case that my yeast was received, which it was not.I also didn't purchase a chance to be Nancy Drew. "Nancy Drew and the Case of the Missing Yeast" sounds like a snooze and the book cover would be terrible and probably sexist. Good Night!Maybe since this is Amazon, I should say that I didn't purchase the chance to be Bosch. I can't wait for that show to come back! However, the fact that Bosch says that Poquito Mas is the best Mexican takeout in LA is...sigh. Sorry, I paid for a negative review to Home Brew Ohio, not for Amazon's critical detective show Bosch. Bosch does not deserve that. (Poquito Mas totally does. Not great food. Not great.)Anyway. During this time of great stress for the world, thank you for letting me post this negative review of Home Brew Ohio and Poquito Mas. It only cost me $6 and no yeast that I have no idea if I could turn into bread (I once made rock hard muffins. Not great. Not food.), but right now, it's been the high point in my day.

Best in class
Best all around yeast for ales. Try the brew around 68-70F room temperature. Aim for the liquid to be around 70-72F as the active yeast warms up the liquid. Don't expect to see bubbling in the first 16 hours and you may not see bubbling for 24 hours. Give your beer a good week plus before moving to secondary and let it sit in there for at least three weeks. Heavy beers will benefit from sitting for 6-8 weeks in the secondary. Expect a lot of trub at the bottom as this yeast seems to have a shorter life span than some other yeasts out there and they breed quickly.

Good for cider
A good English ale yeast. Large sediment left behind and is relatively quick. Only down side is it stops around 8%.

Worked for Bread
I couldn't find bread yeast, so I thought I would give this a try. It worked very well even with a gluten free flour. I only got one packet so I am marking low because of the graphic confusion. However, it is enough yeast in one packet for at least 3 batches of bread. Just dissolve it in a cup of warm water with some sugar and let it get started for about an hour before you pitch it into the flour. In a couple of hours, you will see the dough rising. I was able to go from start to finish with the bread in about 6 hours. Your experience may vary.If you are pressed for more yeast in these difficult times, save a pinch of dough for a starter.

Great yeast for lager I made
I used this yeast to ferment and as a finisher for a typical light lager. It worked quickly, I didn't have any skunky flavor and it got the alcohol content up to where it was supposed to be. It was one of the cheapest yeasts available too so It definitely gets 5 stars, I don't know what a more expensive variety could possibly do for an average mid-low alcohol content beer.
